    Trump is an entertainer who feeds off the mindless adulation of fanatics like a vampire does blood.

    After the embarrassment in Tulsa, the aborted gala in New Hampshire, and the collapse of worship services in Savannah and then Jacksonville, at this stage, Trump would probably be ecstatic over a family get-together in the Rose Garden that fêted "Honest Mary", his celebrated niece.

    Where will he get his fix?

    He's getting his fix with the daily press briefings. But really, they aren't press briefings because he's averaging six questions per session. Just a way for him to continue campaigning under the guise of being POTUS.

    There have long been Independence Day galas at the monument that attract celebratory crowds, regardless of whether Lady Gaga, Michael Jackson, or some other performer is providing the entertainment.
