How would you solve the problems of Black society?

1. Massive funding of social projects to solve financial inequality.

2. Legal reform of the system to advance affirmative action.

3. Massive campaign of education and propaganda to change attitudes and make black violent crime socially unacceptable.

4. Massive law enforcement crackdown and mass incarceration of black offenders to reduce violent crime.

5. Don't do anything, time is all that matters

For me it has to be 3, we need a sea change in hearts and minds. Anything else is just a waste.

 

Fight the false ideology of white supremacy. This pushes blacks into poverty and crime.

 

How do you fight something which doesn't exist?

 

You obviously don't believe in the centuries-old white racism.
How would you explain the fact that more blacks than whites are poor and criminal?

 

Isn't "solving the problems of black society" something for Black people to solve, and not white saviors?

 

If we look at a white family, drug dealers, into local crime we say "white trash" but a black family in the same circumstances is persecuted, disadvantaged and guess who's at fault?

 

I'm going with option 4. Even blacks are getting tired of the inner city shootem' up culture.

 

"White" people can stop trying to "help". Our media and politicians feed into this "white supremacy" nonsense and are dividing people. They distract from the real issues that impact the segment of US society for the worse.

Suppose there was a sector of society that was looked down upon, discriminated against and this group had a higher incidence of social ills like addiction, self harm and suicide. Would you tell the gay community to solve there own problems or does the larger society need to change?

 

I'll admit I'm not clear what it is you are asking. Are you comparing the Black community in the US to the gay community, or are you asking me to solve the problems of the gay community?

This simple answer to the question is a perfect example of why I wish we could fire the entire Congress and replace it with regular patriotic Americans - liberals, moderates, and conservatives. Together, we could solve 99% of our problems.

 

There's should not be "Black societies" in multi-racial countries.

Interesting...but what I think you are talking about is different cultures. It comes from the group's ethnic heritage. Hard to get rid of and why would you want to? It is not the cause of racism it is the target. Racism comes from bigotry and ignorance, maybe that's what we should work on.
