You simply refuse to address the topic at hand don't you?

That's how you know when you're all out of anything to come up with.

Biden doesn't have the power to mandate it. If he tries the Supreme Court will embarrass him yet again.

There is no "freedom" to infect others with a deadly disease. It doesn't exist. There is no "freedom" to put others at risk by being negligent. So there is nothing to "keep".

But that's a different topic, which you can address here

Oh! I see. So you are saying that in the OP, @Fred68 is actually PRAISING Biden for keeping his word.

if it's ok to force rape victims to have their rapists baby after 6 weeks, getting a nasal test during a pandemic seems like nothing compared to that

I am against mandates, but we have to be consistent across the board... "my body, my choice" or not?

that applies to seat belts, smoking, drinking a beer while walking down the street, the list goes on.....

a business can make such rules, but should the government force such rules, seems the slippery slope has already begin

False. This position completely ignores the hundreds of millions of people who have natural immunity.

There's the authoritarian statism I've been missing!! A police state like, oh I dunno, let's say Australia, has conditioned its subjects to be subservient to their anointed masters' commands. Here in the USA, for now, the citizen still exists above the state. We have acknowledged that we have rights and we defend them. Well most of us do. Some of us, anyway. In other places, say Australia for example, subjects have privileges -- like going for a walk in the park -- that can be revoked from the anointed masters at any time. Here in the USA, we have a system for changing what we agree are our rights: You'll note THE STICK is found nowhere in that system. Nor the rambling screeds of a senile tyrant who's spent the last 47 years in government with nothing to show for it.

Obviously they failed to take into account the number of idiots in our country who would refuse to get vaccinated. It is always hard to account for stupidity

Speaking in Wilmington, Delaware, the US president-elect said it would not be necessary to make a coronavirus vaccine mandatory.

(Regarding masks) "My hope is they will then be inclined to say it's worth the patriotic duty to go ahead and protect other people," Mr Biden said. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-55193939

Like many people, Joe couldn't imagine the stupidity and selfishness of anti-vaxxers.

Stupid and selfish is too kind.

Why Democrats need to get angry (yahoo.com)

New poll shows anger, frustration toward the unvaccinated | 9news.com

Liberals cheer on Biden's anger toward the unvaccinated during COVID address | Fox News

I don't get angry over politics, which is one thing I haven't liked about the road taken by Republicans, but if it works for them, it will work with Democrats. I think this attitude turns moderates away, but I agree with Howard Stern's recent comments, which were a bit more blunt than most.

Howard Stern says people who refuse to get a COVID-19 vaccine are 'idiots' and calls for mandatory vaccinations (yahoo.com)

Sounds like mandate to me. It certainly is to someone who wants neither the vaccine or a test. A good example is one with natural immunity who should not be vaccinated and doesn't want the inconvenience of constant testing. Learn to recognize a mandate.

He is an old man like me and, like me, should take the vaccines. Tell the naturally immune about their stupidity and selfishness. There are millions of them. More than enough to obtain herd immunity. Perhaps you should tell Mr Biden that what we have been doing doesn't work with a mutating virus. Doing more of it goes beyond common sense.

I was being sarcastic, as in, as long as one gets an abortion before 6 weeks, they are not being denied an abortion as they have a so called "choice"

Interesting how lefties often resort to calling a specific topic trolling when in reality its this and other posts that are stating actual words as spoken by liberals, only to come back to bite them in such a hypocritical manner. But like you said, hypocrisy coming from the leftists is just human nature, right?
