    You can find out if you want. If you notice when a thread has “ignored member” as the last respondent you click on the time stamp below that message you can see who it was on your ignored list who posted. But you don’t see the message until you choose to

    I put all my "ignored" back in play on January 1st each year. Usually, quite a few ended up banned.

    Why would you want to block someone from reading your comments? I don’t know why people join a discussion forum, then create an ignore list. Then why do so many people tell us who is on their ignore list?

    It seems counter intuitively to me that someone joins a discussion forum then decides he wants to not discuss a topic and face disagreement or a challenge to his views.

    All depends on what you're on the board for. Some are here for validation and that can be found by chumming up with like-minded people against a common "enemy". It's at the heart of the Us Versus Them mentality that has taken over our political discourse at all levels.

    I just find it strange that some people join a discussion forum and avoid a discussion then brag about it as if it’s badge of honor.
