    I do not believe that. America is a nation of immigrants from every nation on earth. We are a melting pot of people United by a love of what America and its constitution is and by the English language. As long as we are United by love of freedom, rights, liberty and language, diversity is a strength. Take away the unifying factors and then it becomes a weakness.

    Diversity in ideas is great. Diversity just for the sake of diversity is meaningless. I like people for their ideas, not their skin color.

    It can be a weakness.

    Let's say the Lakers decided to become more diverse (since their roster only has one white guy) and they fire half their team and hire white's Asians, Hispanics etc., not because they were good at basketball, but because of their skin color. Would they win more or less games, do you think?
