In other words you prefer to believe man can control climate and keep it where he considers it is most beneficial to mankind. The Goldilocks fairy tale alternative, not too hot not too cold just right.

Climate change predates man. Man is not unnatural. Nothing man produces is unnatural. Nothing is unnatural.

There exists the natural and the supernatural; nothing is unnatural.

Your soothsayer, Al Gore, who claims it's what scientists predicted.

That's true, Al Gore is no scientist, and neither is the IPCC, but they both shared a Nobel Peace Prize in 2007. Kind makes one a bit skeptical about all three parties involved.

To be reasonable, we can only honestly admit that human activity has to play some part in climatic change. Any doubt is only to extent and direction.
The one thing that is indisputable is that pollution at present levels is disgustingly ugly and stupid.

Do you believe that his claims had no factual basis as provided to him by 'scientists' ?

His movie had some valid (If hyperbolic) claims and by "Provided by scientists" I presume you mean available to the public.

I bet you meant to cite the IPCC, not the international olympic committee on culture.. Shoddy But who cares? Right? You'd rather cite an organization that is tasked with delivering a global wealth redistribution plan than actual environmental stewardship, so why should anything you say be considered credible?

I would suggest that the Michael Mann hockey stick has now been suitably scientifically addressed for it's fakery and inaccuracy. Al's vision was never to improve the climate, but deliver a legislatively guaranteed revenue stream for himself and his buddies via the carbon credit markets. Scaring people was his tool set.

Honestly, I think the AGW faithful believe in legislatively enforced scarcity. It's the view of those in the plantation as well. Keep folks dependent on them for their livelihoods and their power is secured. It's kind of lazy, but they seem to believe in it...

Did he pull his claims from thin air? Since that bandwagon was jumped on with alacrity by many people, there had to be more than just Gore's claims to support it.

Of course, his personal investments in alternative technologies would have had a boost up if it had been brought to fruition.

As stated, the data was available to everyone who was interested and he simply elaborated on extreme possibilities for effect. Though his Neato graph garbage was silly the core arguments were valid and have been born out over time.

Not sure if global warming is in partly manmade, but it doesn't matter.

Nobody wants the sacrifices and extreme hardships of going back to primitive living without combustion.

Get used to it if it's real or if it's unreal.

With modern tech one can live off grid and have electricity and fresh water virtually anywhere. There is no fear of going back to truly primitive living.

    ...........Neither..................

It is simply a meaningless buzzword.

Climate is a subjective term that is not quantitative. There is nothing TO "change".

A desert climate is always a desert climate, and a marine climate is always a marine climate.

Yes, an area that was once a sea could one day dry up. However, a marine climate is still a marine climate and a desert climate is still a desert climate. Nothing has changed.

You just defeated your own argument in two sentences, either you are terribly confused and inconsistent or it is something much worse.
