Americans created the deadly coronavirus five years ago," - such headlines are flashing here and there for the last few days regarding the article in the Nature magazine from 2015.
Researchers from the University of North Carolina in the USA focus their study on SHC014-CoV - SARS-like coronavirus infecting horseshoe bats discovered in 2013. A study of Chinese experts shows that the virus had appeared as a result of recombination of lines, which also led to the appearance of SARS-CoV. In 2015, scientists along with colleagues from the Wuhan Institute of Virology created a "chimeric" virus based on surface protein SHC014 and SARS virus.
The study shows that SHC014 has all essential tools for binding to a key cell of a human. The experiment confirmed the hypothesis of the possibility of direct human infection with bat coronaviruses. New virus could infect airway epithelium of a human lung, as well as cancer cells. In experimental mice, the virus caused pneumonia, loss of up to 10% of body weight was observed. Fatalities were rare and only in old mice (12 months and older).
This coronavirus may be chosen as an object for creating the perfect design for infection, - explained the Russian specialist in virus genetics who preferred to stay anonymous.
- Being respiratory virus, it spreads effectively (second only to measles virus in its potential). Its genome has a large number of genes, which is notoriously convenient. The main downside is in a special combination: the pathogen is respiratory and asymptomatic at early stages. It has a prolonged incubational period. This is the most dangerous combination possible. As the specialist explained, coronavirus takes control of the first phase of infection. During first stages it's able to suppress the immune response of an organism it infected. When the number of copies exceeds a certain level, immune system is triggered, but in the form of a systemic immune response. This response is so massive and strong, that it leads to lung damage. By the time the symptoms appear, the virus is already present in almost every cell of a human. As a result, the immune system provides such a strong response that it leads to (among other damage) a pulmonary edema, lung volume is reduced to a bare minimum, making effective breathing nearly impossible.

I don't know if any of this is true, but it's a good read. The book doesn't talk about a virus, it just says the hypnotized abductees tell the story that aliens tell them they are to expect a 'big change' event. But, they are not told what it is. So, I'm just speculating the virus might, indeed, be that change.

I'd decided there simply wasn't enough evidence to pursue the possibility that perhaps the Cov2 Virus may have been tweaked by man. However, it looks like a new study is suggesting this might in fact be the case. An excerpt from the Newsweek article titled SCIENTISTS SHOULDN'T RULE OUT LAB AS SOURCE OF CORONAVIRUS follows:

"Our observations suggest that by the time SARS-CoV-2 was first detected in late 2019, it was already pre-adapted to human transmission to an extent similar to late epidemic SARS-CoV. However, no precursors or branches of evolution stemming from a less human-adapted SARS-CoV-2-like virus have been detected," the authors of the study explained in the abstract.


"The sudden appearance of a highly infectious SARS-CoV-2 presents a major cause for concern that should motivate stronger international efforts to identify the source and prevent near future re-emergence," they warned.


The analysis explains that there is still no clear evidence to point to a precise origin of the virus. The researchers explained, based on the genetic makeup and samples of the virus, it remains unclear whether SARS-CoV-2 adapted inside an intermediary animal host, within a human, or in a laboratory setting. It could have potentially jumped from species to species within a lab.


"Even the possibility that a non-genetically-engineered precursor could have adapted to humans while being studied in a laboratory should be considered, regardless of how likely or unlikely," the authors wrote.


In conclusion, the study cautions that various possibilities for how the outbreak began in humans "means that we need to take precautions against each scenario to prevent re-emergence."

If it's proven that the Chinese bio-engineered this weapon(which I myself suspected with the now reported neurological damages), I believe that the anger around the world will be fierce.

 

For sure. But it may be that they just let it escape from their labs by accident. I remember reading somewhere that the safety standards weren't very tight.
