1. First video no. Dick measuring contest? Yes. Toxic masculinity? No. 2. Possibly? I didn’t have the volume up but violence in general is pretty bad. 3. I stopped listening and didn’t bother to finish.
There is no such thing as toxic masculinity. Sure there is... ... Uncle Ferd got it hangin' out... ... all over the place!
no, its wrestling. simulated combat with too many rules for it to have much real world value, imo. Nothing toxic about it, just boring and pointless.
I thought I was gonna agree with him, but he went in a totally different direction that I don't think has much relevence. The way I see it, the divide between men and women is the emphasis society puts on romance, largely as a result of entertainment. Sure, maybe men are being taught by women to have unrealistic expectations of positive results from emotional dependence in relationships... but who is teaching the women that? Doesnt quite add up. I think both are being taught by 'Hollywood' (read: entertainment and advertising industry) that marriage, as opposed to the primarily buiness-like arrangement that made the family unit successful for millenia, its instead sposed to be some magical romantic journey and everyone rides unicorns into the sunset gazing longingly into eachothers eyes aware of nothing but the love they have for.... You get my meaning. The sort of people who can successfully and happily be dependent on someone else for their sanity and happiness are almost as rare as people who enjoy being depended upon for such things. Romantic love was historically viewed as a sort of mental illness that people grew out of when they matured emotionally. Now its the expected result of a successful relationship. Its no wonder men and women are driving eachother crazy...
Mechanization has eliminated much of the need for masculinity. In my trade, masculinity is indispensable. There is no such thing as a sissy bricklayer, stone mason or concrete finisher. Sissies don't get apprenticeships. Sissies don't even make it through the labor ranks to become mason tenders let alone apprentice. In my world, masculinity is not a toxic; it's a tonic. It's the cure not the disease.
1. No its a sport. 2. No. It has nothing to do with the concept. The guy did not like the camera or her, got pissed about how close she was bringing it into his bubble/space and tried to kick at the camera, and tagged the camera and her. It was an attempted act of vandalism towards property by a dweeb who did not know what the hell he was doing. He needs to go back to his Karate class and learn self discipline , after he finishes paying for her broken tooth, the camera, the court costs and doing his community service. 3. Unpersuasive. Teachers have always been women in lower grades in our culture, even in the days of the one room schoolhouse. Men have always been in the fields or at their jobs while the boys were growing up in the home among women, until they got old enough to work an 8 hour job. Disney movies have nothing to with it.
Nothing can be toxic masculinity because toxic masculinity is a neo-Marxist myth that went viral in the media after campus radicals manufactured, defined, and promoted the term as a weapon against traditional manhood.
