So why do I still get distinct impression that Trump has simply rebooted 'The Apprentice'? Only in this version its every sitting Republican Senator and Congressman/woman at the table waiting for their performance to be critiqued. Which simply makes Cheney the first one out the door.

That's a fair attitude. What can be done for us? Pass the infrastructure bill. It will generate jobs and fix the crumbling infrastructure.

I made a post before, basically concurring with conservatives on the pork in the bill but recently I realize: Don't let perfect be the enemy of the good. We said we wanted an infrastructure bill, and that's what we got. I'd like to add an amendment like this to the bill: "If a company or corporation receiving the government grant money from the bill were to default or go bankrupt, the government reserves the right to collect the money and re-invest it into a successful firm or company"

That way, the dollars to Democrat pork will be assured of actually going to something useful. That would allow me to say "Okay, go invest Green or whatever". And it'll incentivize those companies to stay competitive to keep the money.

If no one is embracing the lie, what’s all the action at the state level all about?

Leadership is an after action analysis of the loss and plan to move forward. The Party has no leadership it’s being pulled along by outside forces: directionless, lack of principles. They’re attempting to bullshit their way through the loss.

It’s “working man” rhetoric is just that—more bullshit. Exposed by their reaction to the latest jobs report.

This is a Party adrift. At the most basic level Cheney’s correct. She’s exhibiting leadership in a Party that has none.

By continuing to harp on what occurred 5 months ago? Leadership would be highlighting how GOP policies can win over new voters, and what bills the GOP can get past a Democratic House.

They're performing an audit, not a recount. They're verifying signatures and addresses. Which wouldn't be nessessary if there were voter ID laws in place.

What they're afraid of is being censured and removed from committee by the (D) majority. Jim Jordan went into it at length during yesterday's hearing. The only "big lie" voters are being fed is that ballot harvesting and universal absentee balloting don't result in fraud, and (D)s are the ones peddling that "big lie".

Sorry. I refuse to further read anybody who believes in the big lie that the election was stolen. Have a nice and long life. Over and out.

Simple is as Simple Does.Cheney running around with a child's
gripe { Chip on her shoulder } and ends up being treated like a
brat { undisciplined child }.I guess she figgered that the Democrats can
    get away with it so why not she.But Democrats DON'T { wouldn't dare }
pull the crap she did with their Party's Head.
So it's plain and simple.Cheney had to be treated like a grade school
brat.Instead of sitting in the corner on a 3 legged dunce stool or
remain in the Principles office until school is out,she was sent home
    packing.

    Trump Won 2,497 Counties.
    Biden won 477 counties.
Obama won 873 counties in 2012.
Trump won Florida,Ohio and Texas and won early.
How long did it take to Declare Pennsylvania.Or Nevada.
How about Michigan. All States with huge Democrat run cities
known for Vote Fraud { Philly,Detroit and even Atlanta }.
You mean Jimmy Carter and James Baker were wrong when in 2004/2005
they warned about Mail-in ballots with :
    Commission on Federal Election Reform

There is an incredible amount of variance in county population size, per a report by the U.S. Census Bureau.

Some counties have minuscule populations – for example, Hawaii's Kalawao County has just 88 residents, and Texas' Loving County has 169 residents.

Other counties have enormous populations – for example, California's Los Angeles County has 10.1 million residents, and Illinois' Cook County has 5.2 million residents.

The same 2017 report by the U.S. Census Bureau found that more than half of the U.S. population lives in just 143 counties, or 4.3% of all counties.

She doesn't play well with others, apparently. Even anti-Trump Republicans say she was starting to be a liability.

Yet somehow in a couple short years she made it to the number 3 leadership position.

Seems they are now just coming up with excuses for their actions.

Why would I take the word of politicians trying to cover their asses?

If she was so hated and disliked and such a bitch, how did she get to the leadership position in less than a couple years?

We know the excuse behind Liz Cheney.Mark Levin explained it
simply last night on - Hannity -.
That Bush 43 and Dick Cheney Need to get that Chip off their Shoulder.
That being their Hatred Of Trump. For Making Brother Jeb small during
the Primaries. That's it in a nutshell.Like I explained in my Liz Thread.
Liz Cheney is a " Bushie ". First and foremost.
However that doesn't explain why Bush 43 and Dick Cheney have NEVER
come to the rescue in Defending Trump when he was actively making sure
Israel was given favored nation status and groomed for success.
Last Fall Trump gave Israel success.Bush 43 and D.Cheney were no
where to be found or heard from.

    What crap.

Cheney voted with Trump 93% of the time.

But leave it to Trump to blame everything on hatred. And you suck it up like a golf ball through a water hose. Shameful.

It wasn't going away though. Many Republican politicians and their constituents continue to keep this a current issue, as does Trump himself. It's not just indistinguishable background noise, it is a sizable portion of one of our major political parties choosing to believe in nonsense with politicians choosing to appease those believing the nonsense. It's a recipe for disaster.

What happened to Liz Cheney is proof enough that the "new" Republican party is more concerned with personality and emotion(Something liberals are usually accused of) than they are with principles and standards. At the end of the day I suppose they have to appease the voters, but it's sad watching the counter-balance to the Democrats devolving into frothing idiocy.

It is puzzling, especially the Camp Auschwitz guy and the Jews will not replace us loons. Obviously a love-hate relationship. I guess as long as there are good people on both sides, from whom you draw support doesn't matter.
