Just curious... the market is flooded now with all kinds of products that are reputed to give even old guys the "wood" of their long-departed youth. And there are 'clinics' where men can go and get shots, pills, and other kinds of 'therapy'. Just curious to see what other male members of the Forum think about the relatively new "hard-on" industry. It does seem to have gained a lot of traction in the United States, and all those pills that you see on store shelves command pretty high prices. Is it all crap? Is it for real...? And, if there is a nationwide problem with men having trouble maintaining an erection, might it have anything to do with a changing 'attractiveness' factor in many American women...? . "Now why would you think THAT?"
this is a strategy used in warfare like porn, that is why there is an impotence epidemic every 20 years or so. viagra was popular and made a lot of money the last time. they are doing chastity belt tactics because the cuckolds have empowered them. it also causes emasculation.
I had not even considered that, but Viagra was first sold in the U. S. in March 1996 -- a bit more than 20 years ago, as you suggest! Back when I was 'young' the only complaint from women was that we men were only too willing to 'stick it' in any female we could get to hold still long enough! The 'readiness-factor' was not a problem -- rather like taking a deep breath of air -- and BOING!

While many men do not want to admit it, there has been a drop in testosterone in men in recent years. https://www.forbes.com/sites/neilhowe/2017/10/02/youre-not-the-man-your-father-was/#6340f6578b7f
not so sure about that, it's the libs that want easy access to birth control, they must be doing ok in that department
It's so cute that you think this is a "new" concern for men. There have been "remedies" for this type thing going back to the early Roman times and Chinese medicine has been addressing this for centuries. (why do you think Rhino horn powder has been in demand so long). The only difference is that's gone public with the internet.
More like the old story of the kid watching a worm crawl across the lawn whe his Grandfather comes up to him and says “Give yer a dollar iffin yer hit that worm to go back in his hole!” The kid thinks for a minute and then runs off and comes back with his mother’s hair spray. He picks the worm up sprays it and slides it straight into the hole. “good boy! Here’s yer dollar” Next day his Grandfather comes up to him again and says “Here’s yer dollar for that worm trick” The kid being honest says “But Grandad you have already given me a dollar” His grandfather replies “Yeah but that dollar is from yer Grandma!”
No, no Daniel -- what I said was that in recent times, there have been so many new products, 'services', etc., that are being MARKETED for erectile-dysfunction. Sure, if you look in any herbal literature from almost any society going back thousands of years (especially in China and India), you'll find aphrodisiacs of many different kinds -- some of which were for females, too. How many advertisements did you see on television twenty or thirty years ago for "hard-on" pills? See my point? Are THAT many more men today unable to get and keep an erection, or what...? Right now, the big cause célèbre seems to be in increasing the levels of nitric oxide... what's next? And, what's the 'root' cause of the problem...? (Sorry!)
I havn't had any problems 'getting it up', but when I manage to keep up with my daily nascent iodine suppliment, I find that its 'up' maybe a bit more often than I need it to be... might be something worth trying.
Dude, they weren't even allowed to talk about a woman's period 30 years ago - you think that the American public was ready for boner pill advertisements? That's so cute. "Look everyone, they didn't advertise tampons 30 years ago so women must not have had periods back then ..." You're really funny today.
Because there are more companies? or is this just an excuse for a little misogyny? Eeeeeewwwww! THAT a woman is not a perfect stepford wife ergo her husband has to take pills!! Truth is there has been a rise in erectile dysfunction as men are more sedentary, obese, malnourished (yes you can be obese AND malnourished) exposed to environmental pollutants like pseudo oestrogen and don’t forget of course the effects of smoking
Oh? What do you make of print advertisements from the 1950's for Kotex menstruation napkins? And, believe it or not, they advertised 'intimate' products like "Summer's Eve" ****** as far back as 1983! Link: . This isn't about anybody trying to be "cute", Daniel....
Ah, a rational, analytical approach to the question! Thank you! Still, there is evidence that some 'aids', like Panax Ginseng, and amino acid combinations like L-Arginine plus L-Ornithine can produce those famous "blue-steel" erections....

Ha! I just noticed your signature my brother-in-arms. Sweet! Anyway I think that erection problems are half physical and half mental. The physical side is probably due to the fact that most of us males don't really have a healthy diet throughout our lifetime and after a certain age, exercise is just fading memories. The mental aspect is just that. Mental stimulation matters. In a way therefore the surge of 'get a woody' pills is indicative of physical health and mental stimulation issues. Oh . . . and mental includes VISUAL. There's an abundant number of ways to think about sex. On the other hand one can argue that it's also an example of capitalism and western medical practices at their 'finest'. Instead of suggest change of diets and shaking things up mentally, the go-to 'solution' is ALWAYS to medicate the living hell out of the problem. Healthy diet, a reasonable amount of regular exercise, adequate stimulation and most older men don't need no stinkin' pills. That aside, even the stuff for male libedo that one can purchase over the counter just about anywhere, can pack a physical wallop in the 'excitement' department. Pricey, but workable. I can only presume that the medically issued stuff is massively more -- er -- potent in nature. So then we get into the addiction issue. It's probably easy to get psychologically hooked on the stuff . . . instant and guaranteed gratification, and all that jazz.
A buddy of mine in Germany has had pretty significant problems with his 'appartus' for over ten years, but in just the last eight months he's come across some kind of stuff derived from the glands of young kid goats that has produced amazing results for him. He tells me that 'rich and powerful' guys in Europe have been taking similar medications for decades based on "Frischzellentherapie" (fresh-cell therapy). Josip Tito, the longtime dictator of Yugoslavia, was 60 years old when he married a 27 year-old woman -- and he was reputed to be, uh, still quite active when he was over 80! . "When is that next batch of kid goats gonna get here...? I've got a date tonight!"
Yep; the bottom line is that to one degree or another -- depending on the nature of one's issues -- all this stuff works.
