There was always wind, usually variable down range. Generally took several rounds to walk rounds into target area (note I didn’t say target)....like I said... like shooting artillery. It was more a grin generator than anything practical.
The one drawback of an afternoon of shooting was the cleaning, sometimes (particularly with the Whitworth) during the shooting session.
Mine would be a Colt 1921 Thompson in the FBI hard case and a few "C" magazines. Second choice is a Colt factory engraved nickel pre-war Super Match.
I'm really torn between a Gatling and a Barrett .50 BMG semi-auto.... Since money is no object in this dream, I'll take two of each... Oh... 2=1 and 3=2... So 3 of each.
