So I always thought it was silly. Seemed to me like the 'beauty products' industry trying to break in to the male market.

Then I let my mustache grow.

Mostly as a result of laziness, if Im honest. I dont like shaving all the damn time. Razors make me break out regardless which shaving cream/aftershave I use, and electric razors dull out too fast and are a pain to cleanup after. So I decided to go au naturale.

But now my uncooperative upper lip hair wants to grow curving straight into my mouth. This is also unacceptable.

So Im trying mustache wax to try and 'train' it to grow out to the side.

Will this work? Anyone have any experience/success with this?

I have heard egg whites. I too, dont shave. I was using my angle grinder today and felt a tug, it was a few beard hairs getting sucked into the motor. LOL, sounds way worse that it was.

I use a Wahl for head buzz cut once a week. I use a Braun razor that has a self cleaning base (very convenient) and I carry a mustache. I haven't used a dressing since the '60's but when I did it never helped to keep it from curling in just below the upper lip. I just developed the habit of keeping it trimmed at least once a week along the upper lip line.

I just shaved off a 14 month beard. I trimmed the mustache to keep it out of my mouth and let the rest go. I did use "Best Damn Beard Oil" on my beard. My wife is already trying to get me to grow it back. I got tired of the "Santa Claus" comments.
