You know this is not true.
Why do you hate the freedom of association?

It's what hard core anti-gunners do, they hate any one pro-gun from associating, more so when they are bringing millions of new gunners into the fold.

True... they support the myth of the NRA’s power to influence elections and that gun owners and conservative voters get their ideological talking points from the NRA.
It’s the ‘chipping away’ stratagem, If they can’t increase gun control law, implement their bans, land UBC, establish a universal gun registry to advance their collectivism agenda and get their hands on lists of gun owners who they see opposing their agenda so they can more effectively harass them, then try another angle... try to destroy the advocacy group that they see as a barrier to achieving their objectives. Few people supporting the Left’s agenda understand what the NRA is and are susceptible to the narratives being proffered and the deceptions used to drive those narratives.
Then, too, always, the ever present duplicity and exhibition of double standards and hypocrisy, else, why not go after the NAACP, BLM, and similar groups?

Sweet. So next we can target folks like the ACLU or the Southern Poverty Law center for the same malfeasance, right? I mean. good for the goose and all.... Can't wait.

Any non-profit that misuses funds needs to be investigated - regardless of political affiliation.

The NRA has being playing some pretty weird accounting games from the look of things. I dropped my NRA membership about 15 years ago when it changed from an educational group to a Republican fund raising group.

Great. I heard there was a lot of indiscretion at the SPLC and have heard tell that the ACLU was having difficulties as well. When do you suppose Latisha will get to them?

What a crock, that comment alone proves you have never been a member of the NRA.

Endorsing Trump was a bad move for them.

Why is the AG suing them if they did something illegal? Why not indict on criminal charges?

INALB can you sue an organization? The objective here is to disband the organization since it is not functioning as a non-profit, yes? Criminal indictments may come later.

My lilly-white ass is member #40001 (approximately).

Which patch should I buy from their website to affix to my III+ plate carrier?

I don't see any way they could have avoided it. Trump has made pro-guns a major component of his campaign and administration and I think that was before they endorsed him. The NRA not endorsing him would be seen as a betrayal, not just by Trump but by most Trumpers.

Your comment was that "it was never more than a trade lobby". That is not true. Read the history of the NRA.

I think this will backfire disastrously, gun purchases are at a record high and now the leftwing are going after them, just as the NRA always said,

The NRA is not a trade lobby, the trade lobby is the NSSF, try getting it correct in the future.
