    I'm well versed in primitive weapons, the David sling and my new welded link bullwhip are my favorite devices. A knife is better than no knife, one does not require special training to utilize a knife. I've thrown knives, tomahawks and my favorite, I like to throw iron bars maybe 16 inches long and around 10 mm diatemeter, I'd guess they weigh a few ounces, sharpened on both ends.

    Twice the chances of a puncture VS a knife and even if it should smack broadside, it's a whack.
