Slowly but surely we are seeing more and more of what this America-hating, race-baiting neo-socialist really wanted to do to this country. Our first "Black" president was as big a pandering opportunist as any of the rest of the Leftist cabal that lifted him out of obscurity to be their 'poster-boy' -- and he obviously wanted to do much, much more....

The overriding question: "REPARATIONS" FOR WHAT?!

Newsflash -- Slavery ended in the United States over 157 years ago!

But those who want 'something-for-nothing' will always be happy to take it, and those who want their votes will give it to them!

 

So savvy investors and rich folks are probably already looking at how to cash in on this if it happens. Because when that amount of free cash hits the marketplace, an astronomical amount of stuff is going to get bought in a short period of time. Some companies will make bank, and the stock prices will soar. Time to start doing some research.

 

Yes, lets punish people who did not have slaves, were not able to address the issue of slavery in it's time, and provide satisfaction of some sort to a group who were not slaves themselves.

So, how would this work? Is it like apply for membership in some snooty club, proving your pedigree? Or is it based solely on the tone of your skin? But what about those who pass as White, with Black heritage? Do we start doing it by percentage?

Then we have to consider the Irish, and the Chinese. And let's not forget the Egyptians enslaved many nationalities, Oh, and whoops, the number of Blacks who enslaved Blacks, what happens there? What about the Native Americans, and slavery....

 

I don’t think he even mentioned it while he was president. I don’t think white resistance would keep him from voicing his support back then unless he was worried about being harmed physically?

 

Slavery is denying people the fruits of their labor.
Taxation = slavery.
"Reparations" can only increase the current rate of slavery.

 

Maybe E Warren can make some money teaching people how to take advantage of the situation. Just an idea.

 

What a HOOT! Coming from a man who for the major part was as "white" a president as those that preceded him. Reparations to those who were NEVER slaves from those who NEVER owned them is insanity, but then insanity is the "progressive" Left's stock in trade.

 

Obama's first and most important priority was cramming a completely unconstitutional "socialized-medicine" scam down our throats -- "Obamacare"! He also needed to throw a 'sop' to organized labor and Wall Street in the form of his laughable flop called "Stimulus" (American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009). This was fairly 'low-hanging' fruit for the Democrats, especially because Republicans had no real power, and Chief Justice, John Roberts, obligingly re-wrote the Obamacare POS so that it was kind-of, sort-of legal enough to last for a while, as a TAX, not the original MANDATE that the Democrats and Obama had put into law....

Then, two years into his first term, Republicans finally took the House of Representatives back over, and that put a damper on Obama's neo-socialist joyride. Obama's intent to drive "reparations" obviously had to take a back-seat, but now we see that with Kamala Harris REALLY running the Executive Branch, and with Obama's help obviously forthcoming now, REPARATIONS ARE BACK ON THE DEMOCRAT MENU!

 

Bingo! If we're going to shovel out 'reparations' to Blacks because some of them had ancestors who were slaves in this country over 157 years ago, then I want the Italian Government to give ME 'reparations' because the Roman Empire invaded the homeland of MY ancestors in Germania, and took them back to Italy as SLAVES!

Is this how it's going to be in this country -- people bitching, complaining, and scamming endlessly for handouts from the government about crap that ended here way back in the 1800's...?!

Sorry, reparations are only awarded for race, not circumstance, despite claims to the contrary.

 

How many blacks would immediately quit their jobs, or maybe even drop out of school, if they received a check? Of course those jobs would now need to be filled which then justifies to the left that we have to open up the borders.

 

I know somebody in the DNA sequencing business. I can prove with 99.4% accuracy that I'm blacker than Obama or Michelle. Should be worth a few grand to me plus the 40 acres and a mule.

 

Is it constitutional to punish me for an incident I wasn't involved with?

 

Anyway, Obama just told Biden what to. Now all Biden needs is someone to explain it to him.

So, then, according to ex-prez Obama and others like him, we're just supposed to start shoveling out 'reparations' money because some people think they should be given a big income handout precisely because they are Negroes...? Actually, when you look at life as it must seem to someone like Barack Obama, that sort of makes sense....

What about the oil and gas pipelines providing thousands of high paying jobs Biden cancelled on his first day in office? Not all pipelines are bad.

 

Why continue to invest in horse and carriage industries, such as fossil fuels, instead of renewal energy, where the high-paying jobs of tomorrow will be?

 

Of course. They demand "reparations" for blacks and hispanics. And the blacks don't have to prove anyone in their family was ever a slave.

Just for being black. More free money.

 

You mean the few thousand construction jobs that would have only existed long enough the build the thing?

Or, perhaps the future jobs scrapping it because oil prices never recovered to the point where tar sands oil was profitable?

 

People didn't go out and buy solar panels and windmills during the Texas power grid failure did they? They went out and bought fossile fuel gasoline powered generators. That ought to tell you something.

 

Not to worry, oil will always be worth something. We wouldn't have modern civilization without it.
