~ Not "forced" but available. A good way to track results. There is a reason countries that use Hydroxychloroquine for prevention of malaria have fewer infections / deaths from the Wuhan virus.

Fake News. It's a older medication, patents expired, generics available, there are NO $billions to be made on it.

BELIEVE IN SCIENCE: There’s a Mountain of Evidence That Hydroxychloroquine Is an Effective Treatment for COVID-19.

Man has been scraping bark from trees and making quinine for many hundreds of years. Somehow they knew it was useful against mosquito borne malaria I guess. Point is that we've been using it forever, and it works. I took it for a year in Vietnam, so I don't understand why the same Guardians of the Public Health are so vociferous about this even as they are silent about the health concerns of 5G

all drugs should be between a doctor patient, doctor shopping should not be a crime

yes, it may not be wise for one to take certain drugs, but as long as a doctor advises the risks, that is good enough for me, their (the patients) choice

we need to go back to doctors being there to give us advice and services if needed\wanted, not being the place you have to beg for permission to use a drug or where the doctor fears legal retribution for prescribing what the patient needs\wants

that said, I would not take Hydroxychloroquine

    Wow.

So the non-existent deaths from 5G is keeping Republicans awake all night, but Trump's Miracle Cure is all OK.

Except documented negative health and deaths from:

Seems a lot of folks here want to see more govt intervention into the doctor-patient relationship.

    Wassup with that?

~ 5G is killing people ? So is China with their Wuhan surprise. One we are sure of - the other is a question mark.

Only for the simple-minded and uninformed is it "Trump's Miracle Cure".

I took it for a year while in Vietnam in the US Army. It's been around a long time and has a good record for therapy.

Well, given you didn't get a mosquito-based disease sounds like quinine and its derivatives worked well and your pills worked pretty well, and compared to getting malaria, sounds like a good thing.

But the issue at hand dealing with COVID-19, for which the studies have little effect and still have the same risks of heart failure and death as HCQ, etc. Since there is not a upside to the death risks, it simply looks a bad bet, except for whatever placebo effect of a lifelong huckster's promise!

And taking vitamins to bolster "courage" will have a better effect without heart damage.
