It's an identity so can I identify as a 13 year old. Why can't you directly address something without the ad homs and attacks which refute nothing. I have as much ground to stand on declaring I am now a 13 year old as I do declaring I am now a woman. In fact why can't I declare I am a 13 year old black female?

 

It isn't an identity. Neither is race. Those are not subjective experiences. You continue to scurry and hide behind straw men. Can you ever have an honest discussion? I don’t think anyone in my graduating class became a nun or priest, but a guy I went to grade school with became a priest. He was a very unlikely candidate. LOL!

 

Did they try to get you to dress as a nun? As a Catholic, I'll bet if you went home and told your parents you wanted to be a nun or a priest they wouldn't freak out. Now go home and tell your parents you want to chop your dick off and I'm sure your parents would freak out. Do you think the school in this thread would be cool telling kids to dress like nuns and priests? Oh hell no.

BTW, I also went to Catholic school.

 

A) No one was being forced to cross dress.
B) Your claim was if something is made to be "cool" then kids will want to do it. That is simply not the case....otherwise most every guy would be a fireman. And every kid would be trans. Which just isn't the case.

 

As subjective as gender is you are asserting distinctions that do not exist. I can declare myself a woman why not black?
If choose to identify as a 13 year old who are you to say no I can't do that and I can enroll in school and compete against other 13 year olds.

You still can't bring yourself to actually talk about the topic. Still. There is an internal experience of gender that isn't determined by social influences and experiences. This is called gender identity. The same cannot be said for race or age. Are you done running away or can you put on some big boy pants and talk about that? We have third gender people throughout history, across the globe. The same cannot be said for so-called trans-race or trans-age folks.

Then you aren't thinking. Puberty blockers are overwhelmingly prescribed for CIS kids, for this reason, than they are for trans kids. You guys can't justify why you think that the same drugs that are legal for cis kids should be illegal for trans kids.

 

My Question: We have a Pride Day. A Pride Month. And a Pride Week (depending on location). How many "Pride" days/weeks/months do we need?!?!?!

When was this study done? How was it conducted? I've yet to see a single person or read of a single person that ISN'T influenced in some way shape or form by social influences and experiences in just about every aspect of their lives. And since, according to those on the left, "gender is a social construct" I find it incredibly hard to understand how you could make this assertion.

Does it harm you in anyway? My city had a Pride day last Saturday. It evidently was very popular with thousands of people turning up all having a good time apart from the rain storms. It didn't effect me at all. Personally I can't stand all the whistle blowing and parades and marching bands but it does bring in tourists and hence money into my city.

If you want a special day then create one and try and drum up support

 

Did I say or even imply that it harms me in any way? I simply asked a question and provided a year long list of "Pride" days. And why would I want a "special day"? If it were up to me all "special days" with the exception of the 4th of July, Veterans Day, and Memorial Day would all be removed. And yes, that includes Christmas and any other "holiday/special day". I would add one more "special day" though...National Voting Day. Want to join me in supporting that?

 

I'm right on target and challenging your position which you he failed miserably to defend. Why can I declare myself a woman which I am not but not black or not 13 years old it is MY PERCEPTION of myself which matters according to you and you must accept it.

If you mean sex. Yes. As far as gender identity goes, the closest we are global history, psychology, and brain scans, all of which support trans people.

 

I can only explain so many times. You failed to read the first time I explained. you will continue to fail to do so while you clutch desperately to your pathetic straw men.

 

And one day you will have the psychological support to back up your claim that there is anything at all wrong with it. One day. Just keep wishing upon that star.
