In a world of nation states with borders, if one country breeds out of control that's their problem.
But with mass immigration, it becomes everyone's problem.

For the country with very high fertility rates and overpopulation, eventually it will become so impoverished people will die from starvation and famine, being left in droves on the wayside.
The breeding becomes unsustainable, and eventually the government comes under pressure to create a clampdown on reproduction. This has already happened at one in point in India and China. Other countries have resorted to incentives to get people sterilized, like Indonesia.

If the people from country A have the right to immigrate into country B, then country B has the right to demand (or enforce if necessary) population control in country A.

Otherwise, even if the majority of countries get their population growth under control, it won't matter, because masses of population will still continue pouring out of the handful of impoverished countries that don't have a handle on their growth.

Starvation and famine are not caused by too many people. They are caused by disruption of food supply.
The Main causes are War and Wealth.
War is obvious as it leads to displacement.
Wealth less so. Lack of wealth leads to poor infrastructure and food output.
If African countries could produce yield per acre similar to the UK they would produce enough food to feed the whole world twice over.

Back to your point. Mass immigration has little to do with food resource, it is driven by a desire for stability.

There is no such thing as "overpopulation," and the free market sees to it without any immoral, idiotic meddling from governments.

I'm fascinated. In your opinion how does the free market deal with overpopulation. Only from what I have seen it seems to involve killing other people and taking their land

As a region's economy grows, population growth slows. Wealthier = declining fertility rates.

Ah Ok. Yes I agree, there was an interesting exercise they tried in Bangladesh. They educated women, provided better anti natal and post natal care. Net result smaller wealthier families.
Educating women meant they could do better paid jobs (and use contraception) Better survival rates for children meant parents did not have so many children just in case some died. Less children meant less age range, meant mothers having less time off work, meant more wealth in the family. This wealth then helped the next generation and so on.

The idiotic "one child policy" mistake is why China is now staring down the barrel of a massive population implosion.

Yes, they have given up their one child policy, but peoples attitudes are so ingrained that it continues without the law.

That's not the problem now. The problem now is that the pin has already been pulled on the demographic grenade, and you can't put it back. The government there is trying to encourage families to have more children, but they are failing for the aforementioned economic reasons. Wouldn't matter anyway at this point.
