Okay anti-vaxxers, tell me why I shouldn't get the mRNA vaccine ( pfizer/Moderna)

Okay, pro-vaxxers, tell me why I should get the mRNA vaccine.

I'm supposed to get my second moderna shot tommorrow (friday) but I'm having second thoughts. I'm worried about long term effects, which are unknown, right?

Anyone want to cheer me up?

ALL of the known effects are amount to 1 out of a million risk of some effect like temporary blood effecr, conceivable even to die.

    1 in a million chance.

Drive a car for 25 miles. That is a 1 in a million of risk of death, including buckling seat belts or wear big vehicles.

Fly across coast to coast on commercial airline. That is a 1 in a million of risk of death.

If someone thinks either of those behaviors is too risky, then don't do it.

MRNA vaccine have been tested and used fir years. 40,000 have been jabbed since this summer. 10s of millions of MRNA vaccines have been use for months.

    Risk? Risk is essential ZERO.
Indicates of any future harm so far? Essentially ZERO.

Risk of future harm from utterly unknown effect from MRNA vaccines? Not likely.

Then look up some of very ill COVID patents, and how they suffer. See their long term and/or permanent defects, loss, and other damage they have.

Look up a 10 day stay on respirator down your throat, unable to breathe, clear drool off your mouth, the pain of inserting and removing wires and hoses, of trying to move after on your belly for 10 days, being drugged up in sedatives and other drugs, sometimes in short supply or badly placed or indifferently taken care. All alone of courseduring and after. Months or years of recovery. Possibly quite sizable medical and care bills, will any job take you back?

Decisions, decisions. Even the slightest risk of that fate, and many of the problems from ANY possible unknown and not indicated "long term effects" that are as bad as the REAL effects millions of COVID victims have suffered.

I got my second my second shot 2 weeks ago, and that was quite a relief! Today I am at maximum resistance.

Would I rather get the mRNA vaccine coding for the covid spike protein, or a viral RNA with a whole functioning covid virus attached to it that can replicate? Your choice. I know that my choice was easy, I got vaccinated in February.

IMO it's too late if you've taken the first shot.

I see no advantage to taking it because I've been exposed to too many people who had it and somehow avoided it with my own robust immune system.

Furthermore, I refuse to participate in the fraud that is Operation Covid. Whether the shots are the ultimate goal of the deception or not I don't know.

Best of luck to all those who've taken it. I will not play the game.

You must obey God Fauci. Obey. You will keep getting shots whenever he says and you will wear masks until he says otherwise. Months, years, decades. Do not question the minister of truth.

    Cheers--
    "The needle tears a hole
    The old familiar sting
Try to kill it all away..."

    :)

I got both of mine not long after they first came out. Not a big deal. My wife and daughter both had to be tested many times because of co-workers getting the virus. Now that they have their shots, I sleep better and enjoy my little empire of dirt. Plus, I'm not being part of the spread and the possibility of more lock-downs.

I drove an hour and a half to get the Johnson and Jonson vaccine a few weeks ago.

Why? Because the Johnson and Johnson is a vector vaccine that helps the body identify and eliminate the spike protein on any of the Covid variant strains.

I saw no long term benefit from a modified mRNA Covid injection that will likely be ineffective against a more lethal strain of the virus.

The Johnson and Johnson Vector vaccine showed a better outcome against both the South African and Brazilian variants.

If I didn't know better, (intentional sarcasm) I would bet that the Biden administration is behind the media attack currently being lodged against the use of the Johnson and Johnson vaccine.

I got the Pfizer, and after the second one, I felt a little crappy for a day. It was the quickest route, so I took it. If what you say about the J&J turns out to be effective in combatting the variants, I might go for that the next time.

The reality is that the J & J Vecor Vaccine deals with the ability of any COVID virus to invade healthy cells.

There is a theory that those who ended up with blood clots were people who were just recently infected.

The minute that I heard Pfizer start talking about a third and fourth shot, I was immediately convinced that my choice to get the J & J was a good move.

Indeed, embrace one's fear and let it rule your life. Especially fear of a virus with a 99% survival rate.

I continue to be hopeful that someday, after the idiot bureaucrats get through farting around about it forever, we can FINALLY get the J&J vaccine here in Colorado.

It's all been like being trapped in a room with The Three Stooges here in Colorado, ever since the J&J vaccine was even announced!

    Ta-dah!

So, the CDC and FDA 'brain-trusts' that review these matters, after ruminating on it for a WEEK, did exactly what I predicted they would do -- they said that the J&J vaccine is OK, but must now carry 'a warning' of some kind. Good....

NOW, does anybody know when the local government bureaucrats (especially here in Colorado) are going to get off their dead asses and start vaccinating people WITH the J&J vaccine...? You can drive down to the State Fair Grounds in Pueblo, and get vaccinated (first shot) with Pfizer or Moderna with no delay whatsoever -- but nobody currently knows anything about the J&J vaccine....

Oh, they COULD have already had a contingency plan, ready to go, depending on what the above-mentioned 'brain-trusts' decided, but THAT would have required a degree of proactive foresight, coordination, and preparation that we rarely, if ever, see in the ranks of "civil service"....

So, here we sit... waiting, and waiting, and waiting.... :confusion:

You already took the first so it doesn't matter at this point right? My fear is getting sick from the shot which I was on the first one so I dread the second. For the past 25 years I've never been sick, no fever, flu..just allergies. And no flu shot either.

I'm fine with covid shot to help build immunity but who likes to take a shot that makes you feel crappy the next day?

I got the second shot, got a mild fever and a sore arm, gone the next day and I feel fine now. I guess it will be okay.

Hope the thing works, that's all I can say.

I would be willing to pay any responsible, accredited organization $400 in cash, right now, to vaccinate my wife and myself with the J&J vaccine today -- no questions asked, no delays, no bureaucracy, no hours-long wait, and no bullshit.

All over the news media here in Colorado we hear about how we've got lots of doses of J&J vaccine in refrigerated storage right now -- ready to go. Yesterday, the 'wise men' at FDA and the CDC gave the approval to resume vaccinating people with J&J -- but do you think that's happening in Colorado TODAY? OH, HELL NO! :roflol: . But 'the authorities' whine that people aren't getting vaccinated fast enough here! Yeah -- no wonder -- because you can't get vaccinated in Colorado today without going through more bullshit than citizens of the old Soviet Union used to go through to buy Swiss chocolate....

But, in our state you can legally buy enough marijuana to knock an elephant over... no problem.

$400 is trivial to the amounts needed when things get desperate.

Add a zero and you would do better.

But if it is black market and not sourced reliably, fake or bad vaccine is the issue. Printing can produce perfect duplicates easily.

Some of the countries with massive COVID increases are getting rather desperate and prices for COVID medicine and vaccines are rising precipitously.

We finally gave up trying to get the J&J vaccine. We had to drive to a different county here in Colorado, and we ended up with the first shot of the Pfizer vaccine... which, of course, means we'll have to drive back down there three weeks from now for the second shot.

Beyond a point you just get so fugging sick and tired of trying to wait for the inept, uncoordinated IDIOTS who run these things to pull their heads out of their asses and actually DO something with intelligence and consistency. I didn't WANT Pfizer, but at least now we'll be able to at least FUNCTION in the world that coming upon us quickly.

Hats off and a big round of kudos to the FEMA organization and the U. S. Army vaccination detachment at the Colorado State Fair Grounds in Pueblo, Colorado. If everything in government worked even half as well as that vaccination site is run, we might really become a "great" nation again! :salute: :applause:

Some of us care about the lives of others as well, as novel as that concept may be. Some of us actually care about half a million dead.
