Yes I read this Rosenstein limited the scope and focus of the probe almost like he was aiding the cover up.
Trumpleton's would be losing their shyte if a Dem deputy AG blocked a counter-intel investigation in to a Dem prez. Here's how they may rationalize it. They believe, cuz Don told them to, that no prez has been harder on Russia than Vlad's favorite candidate. So why would a counter-intel investigation be necessary? This is the same prez who was forced by Congress against his will to impose sanctions on Russsia. A prez who wants to let Russia back in to the G-7. A prez who takes the word of a despot, who is our sworn enemy, over our intel community. A prez who has done nothing to protect the country from election interference by Russia after it worked to get him elected last time. A prez who refuses to condemn Putin for the poisoning of a dissenter. A prez who is OK with Russia putting bounties on the heads of US soldiers. Any Dem prez would be getting pounded every day for the mere suggestion Russia be allowed back in the G-7. Especially considering the corrupt attempt to have the G-7 meeting (cancelled due to COVID) take place at his/her resort. But these things are a distant memory in the swirl of daily chaos and outrage during the tenure of a traitor.

Serious accusation of fraud... Maybe you forgot but Trump is the first President or even Presidential nominee to NOT release his tax records. Ever wonder why? He swore he would but said he couldn't because he was "under audit" You don't got to court to protect your tax papers just because you are being audited...unless you have something to hide And oh yea...he's not under audit now

If the IRS saw fraud they would have brought charges He’s being excused by bases accusations from political rivals you are gonna need more then that the vast majority never do release their taxes there is no requirement. Trump has also publicly stated part of the reason why was what Eeid and the dems did to romney when they lied and politicized the returns. The IRS does not look for Fraud. The kinds of illegal real estate fraud that Trump is accused of are not part of their mandate
the IRS certainly does investigate tax fraud. but if you are talking about property taxes...your 1040 isn’t going to show that either if he were to release it. i have not read evidence that the Trump Organzation has not filed property tax returns with the necessary state and local agencies...if they didn’t file i would imagine the state would prosecute
The FBI thought it was all handed over to Mueller. Mueller was told to only focus on the campaign issues. So Rosenstein effectively stopped the investigation and no one was the wiser. Until McCabe read the Mueller report and realized there was nothing in there about Trump's ties to Russia. Neither supported nor refuted.
Odd....didn't Cohen go to jail because they uncovered some Trump Organization ties to Russia that Cohen lied to Congress about?
