Having Nations that consist of one ethnicity, culture and language, also insures that they'll always have friction with their neighbors who have a different religion, culture, heritage, language, history. This is why the US and Germany broke up Yugoslavia, knowing that if it's broken up into separate religious and cultural nations, they will always have friction with one another and remain weak.

This is also what Washington has been trying to do in Syria and what Assad and the Syrian people have been fighting against these past 9 years. You mean the guy whose life was saved in a Russian hospital, and then went to Germany and was poisoned? His following in Russia was about 2%.

My opinion: Navalny was on a foreign payroll and failed in stopping the New Russian Constitution from being voted in. He then went to the Far East where he helped start some civil uprisings, but wasn't successful, so his foreign backers felt he wasn't worth the money they were paying him. And yet if they stopped paying him, he might report the names of the foreign agents to the Russian government.

They decided the best thing was to kill him off and blame Vladimir Putin by saying he wanted to get rid of his opposition - when the only following Navalny had were children who liked the money he was giving them.

The best way to kill Navalny off they felt was to tamper with his diabetes medication. It didn't work though, because the doctors in the Russian hospital knew what they were doing and saved his life.

When his backers realized he was still alive, they called for him to go to Berlin and started the tales about him being poisoned by Novichek, the way they did with the Scriples.

Since he was saved, they couldn't kill him off again without it looking fishy, so they gave Navalny another chance, and helped him make a video of some resort saying it was Vladimir Putin's mansion, but it flopped. No one in Russia believed a traitor on a foreign payroll except the children.

In the mean time Navalny broke the law by leaving Russia so when he went back he ended up in jail and started a hunger strike. This aroused Merkel's and Macron's Russophrenia, and they demanded he be released. But when he gave up on the hunger stike and started eating, they gave up on him.

And that's the end of the Navalny saga. You have to admit it's a lot more logical than the one that came out of Germany.

 

We had this Greek woman at work who was convinced the terrorist attacks against NATO, British
