Second Al Franken accuser coming forward

• A second woman is coming forward with allegations that Democratic Senator Al Franken “stalked and harassed” her.
  
  The accusations come after sports commentator Leeann Tweeden sent shockwaves throughout the media by accusing Franken of groping her “without my consent.” The incident allegedly occurred during a USO tour of Vietnam in December 2006.

  Tweeden also sent visual evidence of Franken’s “groping,” and added that he also violated her through “forcible kissing.”
  
  “How dare anyone grab my breasts like this and think it’s funny?” she said.
  
  After that Senate Majority Leader McConnell announced a new ethics investigation.
  
  Now, fresh accusations appear to be looming for Senator Franken.
  
  Former radio host Melanie Morgan stated that she will be coming forward with her own accusations against Franken soon.
  
  
  
  Morgan, who is also a journalist for Media Equalizer, said on Twitter:

I have been a long time fan of Melanie Morgan, I follow her on FB and Twitter. She is an honest woman and would never make this up. She should be believed. Al Franken should resign NOW!

 

And yet you consider the accusers coming out against Roy Moore fake news? Both need to go.

Al Franken needs to resign according to the standards set by the Senate, republicans and democrats.

These accusers have credible evidence and their accusations can be confirmed.

Roy Moore's accusers deserve the same consideration of the Al Franken accusers if they can also provide credible evidence.

 

One has proof.
The other has none.
One has no political motivation.
The other reeks of it.

This second accuser is accusing him of something wholly unrelated to sexual assault?

 

What politician in his right mind calls a tv personality at home numerous times because he's angry about some numbers discussed during a show? This guy should know better since was in the entertainment industry and then continued to be a personality on TV - if you have a beef with a TV personality you get your people to call his/her people and work out a meeting or something. Franken should have gotten his people to provide her what he believed the facts to be and left it at that. Instead he became, to this woman at least, frighteningly unpredictable.

 

Franken is not fit for the Senate.

Slightly off topic. I'd like to think we've had a 180 degree change in what women are looking for. I highly doubt it. They say that they prefer a gentleman and not jerk, but gentlemen are ignored. Most women go after jerks. It's really bad in high school and college. The situation gets slightly better as adults.

I wasn't a fan when he was on SNL, but every time I have heard him speak since he entered government service I have been impressed with his clarity and brevity. I think he's probably a smart guy who takes his work seriously.

I have not yet seen the details of his second accuser.. so I have no idea what that's about.

Again I think you're mixing up 2 incidents

 

Frightening that he couldn't/can't control himself at times. Calling someone at home to continue an on air discussion is rather bizarre.

 

I'd assume we can paint him guilty on her claims alone, like the left are doing Roy Moore.

 

I've tried to kiss girls and got rejected. I've had sloppy drunk women who I wanted nothing to do with climb all over me and give me a physical. This is the nature of the birds and the bees and the thrill of the chase, you don't know if you can until you try. I don't have a major problem with Franken trying to kiss her once, that's for him and his wife to work out. I have a problem with the photo.
