The Democrats are just flipping back to pages in their playbook that worked. They yelled and screamed so long, loud and hard about Alberto Gonzalez that he either resigned or had Bush ask him to do so. That set a very bad precedent. So here they go again with Trump and Sessions. With the left it's not whether the accusation is true or not, it's the seriousness of the allegation that makes anyone on the right guilty or not. The best thing they can do is let the left spin it's wheels on investigations to nowhere and every time it's brought up (like everyday) have a canned answers ready that is repeated every time they do. This way while Democrats throw anything and everything at the wall to see if anything sticks, the Republicans response will be consistent every time. The left will be seen as deranged flailing wildly at anything they can, and harm their chances of holding on to the 10 Senate seats in States that voted for Trump.

 

The dems are trying to let their rabid base down easy but it's starting to look as if the left has to admit they got nothing on Trump!

The investigation is just getting started and it is a very big investigation and as of now 6 of Trump's associates are under investigation so it's far from over.

 

Seems now in hindsight as if they used false Russia claims to try to downplay Trump's credibility since he was attacking the media so strongly. They needed something to say, but but but Trump. Julian Assange has never had his work shown as untrue, yet nobody would listen when he said he didn't get anything from the Russians and Trump folks were denying collusion with Russia. It was a distraction from their problematic media-bashing distraction and libs just clung to it. Now it just makes the media look that much more foolish, along with liberals who have screamed about Russia from the rooftops, but they'll still continue to call conservatives uneducated so they can feel like they still hold the intellectual high ground.

The problem is you have to prove Russia influenced the election, and for that you have to find someone who was influenced, then you have to prove the Russians coordinated it with Trump.
