Has anybody but me noticed that as soon as this "Coronavirus" scare took over entire news broadcasts, more and more American cities went on various kinds of 'lock-down' and municipal and state governments issued "stay-at-home" decrees.

Restaurants, excercise gyms, and a LOT of other concerns, businesses and activities were cancelled, or made impossible to participate in.

Now, to the thread topic -- BANKS!

More and more banks have decided to CLOSE OFF ALL ACCESS TO THE BANK LOBBIES, meaning that the only way you can conduct any bank business is by phone, internet, "ATM machines", or bank drive-up windows. But what if you want to get into your safety deposit box?! :cynic:

I put this thread under "Conspiracies" because more and more, considering what this virus actually amounts to in real life, it looks like a 'virus' is being used as a convenient way to quickly alter the behaviors and capabilities of the entire populations of countries around the world.

Who is doing this, and given the reality of actual casualties versus the entire population of the Earth, what is coming next? The one constant factor I see in this peculiar little drama is the presence of CENTRAL BANKS, like the Federal Reserve System, the European Central Bank, etc. They have literally taken over the economies of the entire world, and, amazingly, they've accomplished this in less than three months. Suddenly, no country can do anything, and no government can function without the overlord protection and actions of CENTRAL BANKS! And what are these central banks doing besides 'printing' imaginary money, and buying speculative 'paper' with more 'paper'...?

Think about it... and do the math --

Total deaths in the world due to this Coronavirus: 22,156 (as of March, 26, 2020)
Total population of the world: approximately 7,800,000,000 (as of January 2020)

I have received dozens of emails from probably every business with whom I have ever done online business describing what they are doing in the war against coronavirus.

Check that. Actually I don't think I've received any such reassuring reports from Amazon, Microsoft or any of the really big companies with whom I've occasionally done business, including FedEx, UPS and USPS. Huh, kinda interesting.

    Do they not care? LOL

Is anything they're doing outside the context of containing and eliminating coronavirus? No? Then stop whining. Yes? Then explain below.

Fear of the unknown is always greater than fear of the known.
More people die in car wrecks every year - yes, the world has adapted to that fear.
Just as people will adapt to the fear of this particular virus.
Just as people will panic when the next unknown pandemic hits.

Well, I suppose that this, blocking bank lobby access, is a step in the direction of a currency-less society. Most of the time people go into the bank lobby to exchange cash. That is, withdraw money or put it into a bank account. Many retailers who are open need cash for change for their registers. It's going to complicate business opperations.

Is that even a serious question? There was never any crisis or any reason in the history of the US that warranted suspending the Constitution, and there never will be. But it's clearly evident there are plenty of fools out there who believe there is a legitimate reason.

You are so wrong, there is no point in my even going there. And you're on ignore as a waste of time.

Right, what else can I expect from someone who believes suspending the Constitution is ok? No facts, nothing in support, not even an attempt at any explanation, just I'm "so wrong" and "there is no point in going there" and put me on ignore because you can only post hot air and zero substance. That's ok, based on your posts, you're 100% correct, there is no point in having any discussion with you, a total waste of time.

Having only the ability to think in one language, at the moment I wonder if there is not in another language, a phrase that is a bit less connotatively overloaded term that would apply to many of the events of our species than Conspiracy Theory. Constantine's embrace of "Christianity" comes to mind as the leader of the pack, so to speak - I've not researched it much; and also the accepted theory of the construction the Great Pyramid seems incredibly lacking to me as well. Not to even begin to get on about the most obviously false explanation for 911.

The numbers being reported that I see do not support anything close to the response regarding this virus - aside from ventilator overloading. Ffs, seems, what, how can I even explain my conflicting dual opinions of what I'm observing here. JHU is at this moment reporting 529093 confirmed cases with 23956 confirmed deaths. On a planet full of about 8 billion. On the other hand, I've spent years of dealing with Louisiana folk, and they are unique of all the cultures of all our states in my opinion. So when these folk start saying it's serious, maybe perhaps it is.
