Gingrich walked away with it, and Romney blew a great opportunity to offer Newt the VP slot and seal the deal for himself amongst the momentum of the debate

I liked Santorum, especially on the illegal immigration. you could see Romney flip flopping on all his answers. Newt, I just disagree with his plan for illegal immigration, doesn't sound to reasonable to allow locals to decide about deportation. We are a nation of laws, everyone should follow them, even and especially our Representatives! I like Santorum, just hoping he'll make an impact in SC

Paul spouts off about problems, yet really doesn't discuss his solutions for them. Everyone agrees with the problems, but yet we need someone with solutions. IMO

If you knew that Romney only paid 15 % because he gave away VAST wealth to his church and that church is UNDER attack By evangelicals in this race would you be able to understand his reluctance to show stuff when in S.C. ?

This is an all out attack on a Mans religion ..Newt knows it far better than most ..Its IOWA all over again.

Be prepared for a HUGE surprise...the Voters are not that stupid.

8 ROMNEY precincts disappear in IOWA...
Perry drops out endorses Newt .

How really just wonderful for Newt Gingrich.

As a Republican township delegate and caucus leader I KNOW it is not POSSIBLE to have that miscount and lose entire precincts.
Just as it happened in MN last time ..a entire county supported McCain by 60 % and somehow that entire county supported AL FRANKEN ??

How come no other candidate but Santorum received additional vote or lost votes ?

This IOWA vote is a FRAUD ..and I wish I had the BALLS to challenge them for a illegal vote. Millions of dollars were WASTED ON IOWA for what ?
8 precincts that didn't have their VOTE COUNT.

    SHAME ON THEM

I haven't heard any attacks about Romney's religion, but it is a shame about Iowa vote count! I heard that and was shocked, it would seem more would be invested to see that all votes are counted!

Newt got pounded last night. Santorum destoryed him!

Paul did the best on healthcare subjects.

I only got to see about half of it, all I remember is Newt being flat-out cold at the beginning, then some questions about taxes, Ron Paul wanting to bring income tax as close to 0% as possible.

I have relatives who called me last night to apologize …

I told them no worries, that debate doesn’t represent everyone in SC

I think it was a smart move by Romney not to offer Gingrich the VP slot. Gingrich has too much baggage, especially in light of his new peccadilloes; He's toxic and all he would do would be to drag Romney down with him.
