I served our armed forces in the Army and when I was in charge of a platoon, I managed to get severe bronchitis and this in 1962. The Army did not quarantine the rest of the troops in the company I was then in. For two days in the Army hospital, I was not able to eat anything. I was knocked out most of the time due to the bronchitis.

I do not know why my platoon was not also infected but it was not.

The Army doctor managed to keep me hospitalized for 2 weeks.

Well, when you work in a county with less people that the city my wife works in, you get less cases.

Not to mention that Hawaii has some of the most strict COVID restriction in the country.

 

3 family members were diagnosed as having CV 19. The child had no symptoms. Parents described it similar to the flu.

All are well and I do not know of a single case they passed to others.

All seem very healthy and the father is working for a living.

When I was able to eat, it was the regular hospital in the Army fare. When you are ill, food is the last thing I was thinking about.
