    Either. You can be racist towards Jewish people by their ethnicity, you can express religious hatred towards them via their beliefs.

    What the blazes does that mean?

    I have a solution to the whole Cecil Rhodes issue? We send out a letter to all Oxford students saying that if they object to Rhodes and his legacy they should resign from the university and give their place up to someone from a BME background. See how many take it up.

    People can believe in a fantasy fairy story about religion if it comforts them I suppose.
    There is no God, there is no Satan.
    People are the masters and mistresses of their behaviour and destiny.
    Organised religion may have done some good, but it has caused a lot of problems simply because people believe passionately in the fairy tales. Passionately enough to kill.

    Jews belong, of course, to the Jewish race. Some are called "Jews" because they convert to Judaism but
    generally such conversions don't last longer than three generations. The "real" Jew is identified genetically,
    and belongs to the Semite language group from the Middle East.
    Once there were twelve tribes of Jews - one tribe can still be identified, the Levites who originated from Aaron,
    Moses' brother. It all rather amazing stuff really.

    The explanation certainly isn't down to some father christmas figure, who's intent is described then interpreted by mankind according to the random name of whichever religion is fashionable today.
    Anyway every true believer knows it was all made by sweet liddle puddy cats so they don't have to work or pay taxes.
