I wish he had stayed the rest of his career at New England but this was not unexpected The Patriots were never going to commit to Brady for several more years as it is one of Coach Bill Bellichek's practices that "It's better to cut a player loose a year early than a year late".

It's not that- Brady has taken a lot of pay cuts for other players (gronk, hightower) to keep them on board salary cap-wise. He wanted more money than the pats can afford...the pats need to pay better WRs, RBs, and Guards. The pats have no weapons. A bad time for Brady to be a free agent.
