Looks like DR has some tainted alcohol in its minibars.
Scary. I love to vacation there.

You might want to write your last opinions and post them.
    We might be losing you.

I wish more Third World loving progressives would go on more vacations to the Third World more often.
Particularly if they decide to be more adventurous and get up and explore outside of those safer tourist zones.

Jamaica is an English speaking country. DR is primarily Spanish.
The Jamaican vibe is like no other you will experience.
The water is not potable in the DR (use bottled water) and food handling standards are bad IMHO. The water is drinkable in Jamaica (still, use bottled water), the food is wonderful (spicy at times), no problems with health standards.
    No "mysterious deaths" in Jamaica.

I looked into that as well and came up blank.

Certainly starting to see an obvious connection here if the mini bar is involved in another instance.

Will look more like it's not just something in the water per se or they're coincidental accidents if tourists from other countries aren't in jeopardy. Looks seriously like someone is targeting and killing Americans specifically.

Question is, will it be covered up because almighty dollars are involved to the tune of billions and news of serial killers targeting Americans outside the US will destroy the tourism industry? And then there's the news our FBI is investigating it. Who in their right mind would trust that?

No mysterious death, but plenty of case of abduction in the past 10 years. Personnaly, I prefer the french territories like La Guadeloupe.

Very weird. And yes, why only Americans? Is someone tampering with the minibars?

Strange ... there are not only US people making holiday, but others too... for example 260,000 Germans were there last year, but no one died.

But the number of cases were people of all nations making holiday complaim that they became sick raised ... but this happens often in every country. Travelling to Mexico from Europe is known that you will become fast "Montezumas Revenge" ... diarrhea ... when eating local food etc.

I was in DR with my family just last February. Everything was fine. I had food poisoning for about a day, but nothing serious. Our room didn’t have a mini bar and I wouldn’t use it anyway - the resort is all inclusive and there are bars open 24/7.

I suspect there is tainted or fake alcohol that is being sold for minibars by some resort suppliers. They should really trash all that alcohol and buy new stock from reliable suppliers.

Have you seen the minibars in those resorts? Full size bottles of booze turned upside down on a stand. Easy to tamper with. Who would drink from a previously opened bottle?

Both my nieces go there because its dirt cheap. Hopefully theyll drop that destination from their list. Personally, I never travel to a third world country where you are warned not to leave the resort. Thats just asking for trouble.

Could be ... but why then only US people and no one of the many other nations making there holiday?

Probably just a coincidence. In terms of proportion, you are most likely to meet Americans on those resorts.

Am I the only one asking if tourists from other countries are dying as well? If so why?

That said, is it a terrorist or lone wolf serial killer targeting Americans specifically? If so is it to ruin terrorism to get back at CEO'S running those resorts or simply bc they hate Americans?

So again, why aren't they answering those questions?

The hooch is being made in dirty bath tubs.

But seriously, has anyone in the dumbass MSM asked the question as to whether or not tourists from other countries are mysteriously dying in the DR? I haven't heard this question considered.

Anyway, just stay out of that shathole.

REMEMBER: YOU HEARD IT FROM MOI FIRST.

Check the beautiful ocean water for a toxic algae bloom.
Algae toxins can be quite exotic in symptoms as well as lethal.

I read that Hard Rock hotel remover liquor dispensaries from their rooms.
This has got to be something related to bootlegged alcohol. Seems to me most known circumstances are related consuming alcohol in minibars.
