I'm not finding a thread about the original incident. Nor really clear what happened here. Some people will probably describe the officer's death as karma:
It's tragic, especially if it was intentional (not saying it was). Nobody living has the right to decide what someone else *deserves* in their life or death. Karma or no karma, I say let that man's beliefs sort out those details.
No, there aren't any details, and "single car accident hours after hearing he'd been fired," combined with what the article reported, suggests to me the possibility he took his own life. Not saying that's what happened, but it would explain the lack of details about the accident.
