Trump destroyed his final chance at grace / in 7 days, Biden/Harris will be inaugurated

Good morning.

Today is Wednesday, January 13th, 2021.

Yesterday, soon-to-be Ex-President Donald Trump had his first yellicopter moment in a while, where he proclaimed that everything he said to the murderous, seditious crowd during his rally on January 6th, 2021, the rally that led to the invasion and ransacking of the Congress, was just totally ok, that "people" told him he was just wonderful. He showed no remorse for what he did, not even one little bit. Then, while speaking about the Alamo at the wrong Alamo in Texas, he made a direct threat in easy-to-read code language about the possible invocation of the 25th amendment against him ("you are going to get a lot of people mad" is mafia-speak for, 'you **** with me, I'll **** with you'). So, by not taking any responsibility for his henious behavior, Trump just shoveled his own political grave, and just to be clear to everyone reading here, I just wrote "political grave", which is a commonly used phrase to indicate that Trump's political career is over with, forever. There is no need to get all upset and have a big old MAGA-snowflake moment about what I just wrote. He also called Mike Pence a "prick" for having done his constitutional duty on January 6th, 2021, so I suspect that the two of them are not going to be exchanging hearts come Valentine's Day this year.

During the day on January 12th, 2021 5 major things happened:

1.) Both of the banks that deal with Trump have dropped him. Deutsche Bank will no longer deal with him or the Trump Empire, will approve no more loans and will surely call in the 340 million USD in loans that he owes them. Directly on the heels of the announcement from the Deutsche Bank, Signature Bank has cancelled Trump's private accounts (checking, savings). This is more than uncomfortable for Trump.

2.) The FBI went before the press and announced that the investigations into the murderous, seditious criminals who attacked the Congress is going to be absolutely, mindbogglingly enormous and that they have received more than 150,000 video tips from citizens across the land. Do not expect for this to be over with soon. This is likely to take some years to finish and there will be moments where blood-curdling details of what happened are going to be revealed, especially as refers to extreme Right-wing, white-supremacist militias who trained for this moment, who exchanged communications with each other and who planned to kidnap and publicly murder VP Mike Pence and HOR Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Also, literally thousands of US citizens who broke the law on January 6th, 2021 are facing 20-year prison sentences. I can guarantee you, when all of the details of what happened are out, 2 years from now, literally every Republican out there will claim that he never knew Donald Trump at all.

3.) Before or shortly after the US HOR voted on the House Resolution requesting of Vice-President Mike Pence to invoke the 25th amendment, 5 House Republicans announced publicly that they will vote to impeach President Trump today:

Rep. John Katko (R-NY-24) wrote unequivocally that he will vote to impeach. And during the HOR debate on the amended version of HR 31, Jamie Raskin (D-MD-08 ), who lead the Democratic side of the hour long debate (30 timed minutes per side), called upon Katko to speak for the Democratic side. That is extremely unusual.

Rep. Elizabeth Cheney (R-WY-AL), in one of the harshest statements that I have ever read from any politician ever, stated unequivocally that she will vote to impeach Trump, that his behavior is the most egregious behavior of any president, ever. Rep. Cheney, daughter of former Vice-President Dick Cheney (2001-2009) hails from one of the 3 most Conservative states in the USA and is the 3rd most powerful Republican in the HOR R-caucus. Trump won 70% of the vote in Wyoming. No one can accuse Cheney of not being a Conservative. She is an arch-Conservative. What Cheney has done is to allow Republicans to vote their conscience on the floor when it comes to the Impeachment vote today. This means that the Rs are not even going to try to whip votes against impeachment today. That says alot.

Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-IL-16), also an Iraq war veteran, has stated that he will vote to impeach. I find Kinzinger to be one of the more interesting figures in Congress and likely a bright star for more moderate Republicans, the very few of them that are left.

Rep. Fred Upton (R-MI-06) and Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler (R-WA-03) are also going to vote to impeach.

Also, Rep. Peter Meijer (R-MI-03), a newly minted Freshman Republican and former Iraq-War intelligence advisor (2010-2011), has indicated very strongly that he is looking at voting to impeach. MI-03 was Justin Amash's district. Amash is the former Republican turned independent who said in 2019 during the Ukraine-gate scandal that Trump should be impeached and he voted as an Independent to impeach.

What happened during the debate was quite interesting to watch. Knowing that their side is going to lose all of this quite badly, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH-04), who lead the Republican side of the floor debate, used time to allow freshman Representatives to speak, in other words, in order to "get their chops". Usually, when you are thinking that your side has a chance of winning what may be a close vote, you put out your biggest guns to express your point. This tactical move on the part of Jim Jordan tells us that he knows that disaster is about to happen to his party.

So, what has just happened is that the US House of Representatives has set up the chessboard for check - and - mate. It's that simple. By calling on Vice-President Pence to invoke the 25th amendment to remove Trump from power right now, reasonably certain that Pence is not going to do this (he already sent a letter saying thanks but no thanks), they can vote in all good conscience to impeach Trump. And Nancy Pelosi has already named the 9 impeachment managers who will try the case in the US-Senate.

Now with news that current Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, who is soon going to be Minority Leader, is actually pleased that the Democrats are impeaching Trump a second time, speaks volumes. That Mitch McConnell deliberately allowed this story to be leaked to, of all media outlets, the New York Times, which also reports that he literally hates Trump and is planning to never ever speak with him again, means that Mitch McConnell is working the ropes of the Senate to make the way for a 2/3 majority vote to convict Trump in the Senate and therefore prohibit him from ever again being a candidate for any office in the land, also prohibiting him from fundraising for any campaign. This means that Mitch McConnell wants to purge Trump completely from the Republican Party. McConnell knows that he is going to outlive Trump, he can also read polling data that shows how pissed-off the American public is at Trump.

4.) The US House of Representatives voted on the *amended* Resolution to request that VP Mike Pence remove Donald Trump from power by invoking the 25th amendment as follows:

223 yeah (222 D / 1 R)
205 no (205 R / 0 D)
NV 5 (5 R / 0 D)

That one single vote on the R-side to have Pence invoke the 25th is a sign that the dam has broken. It is expected that up to 20, maybe 30 House Republicans are going to break ranks today and vote to impeach Trump.

5.) The joint chiefs of Staff, in an unprecedented move, sent a letter to ALL US-military personnel across the world stating that the US military will uphold the rule of law, condemns sedition and that Biden is going to become the 46th Commander in Chief. This has never happened before and tells me that something truly jarring has happened behind the scenes. You can read the letter HERE. Guaranteed, we will be hearing more about this soon enough.

In 7 days from today, on January 20th, 2021, Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. and Kamala Devi Harris will be sworn-in as our Republic's 46th President and 49th Vice-President, respectively.
