    If you are incapable of accepting that children are not "basically immune" to Covid-19 despite the most reputable epidemiologists and public health officials attesting to that reality, then you can go with any reality-tv performer you prefer.

    Good luck with that.

    I'm old not young and basically immune with a 0.01% death rate from covid but if I was young no I'd have no problem.

    Very true. In the end it all depends on who's bull is being gored. If my kid dies it's a tragedy; if your kid dies I'm sorry.
    Just remember the Coronavirus is not done yet.

    The covid death rate among children of 0.01% means more children will die in car wrecks on the way to or from school than will die of covid.

    So because some children will die in car accidents you think it's OK that other children die from Covid? It's not a competition.
    Again, your kid dying in a car crash or from Covid is too bad. My kid dying is tragic.

    Kids being infected with the virus is of little concern to the kids as they are nearly immune from the disease. That was Trump's point and he is correct.

    This thread demonstrates that critical thinking has not been taught and/or learned in our modern culture.

    But the choice is still yours. If you have concerns about your childs welfare you can choose to forbid them from riding in an automobile and can homeschool your child rather than send them to public school.

    I guess I don't understand your anxiety.

    To most people when you say immunity it means you can't catch the disease (again).
    That is what made Trump's post dangerous and misleading and why Twitter took it down.
    But putting that aside the fact that the little devils often don't get sick makes them carriers of the disease, spreading it to the rest of the neighborhood. That is not a good thing.
