the Forbes article doesn't state that Chebikov never met Kennedy in the Soviet Union Kennedy wasn't in the Soviet Union at the time But you probably think he was. But you probably think Cherbrikov spoke directly to Kennedy duh! .And you keep following the fiction not the facts. And so we have a memo with 3rd hand information. But you believe the fiction. Forbes article doesn't quote from the memo anything that suggests Kennedy wanted to enhance Andropov' anti war speeches on U.S TV in exchange for his undermining Reagon in some way. The notion that Democrats wanted to impeach trump before he got elected is not wrong, but it ignores the fact that every President faces some percentage of Americans who want him impeached immediately. Every President gets to ~25 or 30% of support for impeachment at some points during their tenure.

The fact that Trump started with such a high floor is because of his own **** ups like bragging about grabbing women by the *****, promoting Russian talking points against the conclusions of US intelligence agencies, and dismissing war heroes and gold star families.

The fact that Trump is currently around 50% support for impeachment (higher than at any point for Clinton and higher than Nixon before the week he actually resigned) is also because of his own **** ups when he got caught trying to pressure a foreign government into providing campaign assistance in the form of an announced investigation against his domestic political rival while he simultaneously and unilaterally held up hundreds of millions in military aid and a requested meeting.

For the 2nd straight month, he gained approval numbers at the state level.... And this is after impeachment (I suppose)... Not sure I understand that, but America doesn't make a lick of sense anymore.
