The point was the double standard that was applied long before the events in the Capitol took place. If we are calling both an insurrection then why are Republicans the only villains? 5 hours of unrest vs 5 months? If both aren't an insurrection then why not? Both attacked government structure and facilities violently. Which one did more damage and cost more lives?
