    Are you suffering another wave?
    Are you under social distancing measures?
    What's vaccination like?
    Where in the world is this?
    What can you do in terms of travel?
    What can't you do?

    Right now, where I am, across England in fact, we're worried about flare ups of the South African variant and the Indian variant, but still have plotted a course to get back to normality come June 21st 2021.
    May the 17th will see the return of being indoors and hugging loved ones and travelling.
    June the 21st, we can ditch our face masks and sanitising, if we want to.
    We've had a successful vaccination roll out and had to endure talk of a herd immunity naturally developing before a vaccination was found; this path we're on, isn't guaranteed, but I believe yesterday May the 17th got the go ahead.

    Don't worry, COVID isn't more dangerous as common flu.
    The problem are mRNA 'vaccines' which are gonna kill immune systems of inoculated fools.

    I asked what COVID's like in your area. You in a lockdown, you not in a lockdown?
    You got another wave of the virus? You're all vaccinated?

    I'm not in TX, FL or SD, so there are some restrictions of course.

    I'm in Florida, which is, contrary to popular opinion, not the wide open free for all that it's depicted in the media when it comes to COVID restrictions. Medical facilities are still retaining the same restrictions that they had this time last year. Stores and restaurants still have limited capacity (although they're open) and mask wearing is still required to enter most public buildings. What's different is that just today, the CDC finally accepted the science that people who are fully vaccinated don't need to wear masks. I saw the most people ever without masks in a store today (about 30% of the customers were maskless) so people are starting to ignore the rules even though officially we still have them.

    In my area of Washington State, people are starting to ignore the mask nonsense. Today I went to Lowe's to buy some lumber and about half the customers were not wearing masks and no one from the store confronted anyone.

    I just heard people in Ohio (not where I live) have just been offered the chance to win $1, 000, 000.00/One Million Dollars if they've been vaccinated announcing five jackpot one million dollar prizes.

    Oklahoma. Only a couple of stubborn hold out liberal strongholds like Oklahoma City and Tulsa are still trying to enforce masks. Our schools are open and have been for quite some time now. 90% of the state has no mask requirement. We only lost 0.2% of our population to COVID.

    More unfounded BS, unless we see these level of deaths in India from flu every year, oh wait we don't I wonder why that is?

    I guess in your eyes it must be costing India millions in actors fees, along with the paid actors in countries around the world not forgetting all of the other people involved in faking statistics on deaths, hospital bed utilization, critical care utilization etc. etc. etc

    Actually, I also don't think it is any more dangerous than a bad flu either. The difference is that it is far more contagious so there are more cases. We get the same thing every season from the flu in smaller numbers.

    To a single individual, but we are talking about the general population, being more transmissible with the same fatality rate by definition makes it more dangerous to a population.

    As long as you remain terrified and do what you illustrious leaders tell you to do, you'll be just fine. Make sure to ask no questions of your leaders.

    I think the difference is that we have decades of flu vaccine history so we have a head start on a flu pandemic. This crap will be the same in a few years.

    again with the untruth. over 7 million people in FL are FULLY vaccinated. That's 1/3 of the population

    from usafacts.org
    In Florida, 9,608,209 people or 44% of the state has received at least one dose.

    Overall, 7,264,532 people or 33% of Florida's population has been fully vaccinated.

    Your hatred of the governor appears to make it difficult for you to report the facts. Since FL is doing a good job, the new spin being floated is that black folks aren't getting vaccinated and racism is the charge. The truth is that vaccines are widely available and free

    The Democrat media is tossing what ever they can at Desantis and hoping it sticks. Given your post history, you lap it up and regurgitate it here.

    With the latest CDC guidance about useless masking-up, the idea of weaponizing Covid against DeSantis is a losing proposition

    Roughly 30% vaccination rate in Tennessee.
    790 new cases May 12, no new deaths.
    Mask Mandate expired, some locations recommend masking and/or social distancing if possible.
    Fully open schools.
    Fully open businesses, with exception at the business' discretion.

    Sure, but did you ever freak out and wear a mask, not go to stores, stop going movie theaters, refrain from traveling because of the flu? Or did you figure if you caught it you would just deal with it?

    Let me be clear. It is no more dangerous than flu to any given person. Better?

    Very similar to West Texas. Masking is not being enforced and is a matter of personal choice. Slowly getting back to a more normal less fearful atmosphere.

    We've had a few individual cases over the past few months. 5 total.
    Are you under social distancing measures? No, nothing whatsoever.
    What's vaccination like? We are behind the ball on vaccination. Over 50s are mostly done
    Where in the world is this? Perth, Western Australia.
    What can you do in terms of travel? Can travel anywhere in the country
    What can't you do? Travel outside the country. Everything else is normal, no masks, nobody social distances, no restrictions on crowds.

    1) No, our last wave subsided late last year and we've only had a few cases since then. I think Australia has had one death this year;
    2) Basically no. I think sporting events are still at 75% capacity, but I usually watch sport in a 100,000 seat stadium, so hardly a problem. Still wearing masks on public transport & in doctor's offices. Nowhere else;
    3) A bit on the slow side. Because cases are so low and our Federal government is allergic to taking responsibility it is only just speeding up now. Got my first shot last week;
    4) I'm in Melbourne, Australia. We had the biggest outbreak in Australia (about 800 dead) and one of the harshest lockdowns in the world. Now life is basically normal;
    5) Generally travel interstate, though there are occasional, brief border closures due to small outbreaks;
    6) Overseas travel is possible under some circumstances, but limited. Can't think of anything other than that.

    Exactly - and THAT'S what makes this virus so ****ing dangerous.

    Why is this so hard to grasp? It was never about the mortality rate, it was ALWAYS about the huge numbers of people getting sick at the same time.
