Why Biden?

I think it’s fairly obvious that Joe Biden is experiencing some sort of dementia and I wonder what the calculus was that the Democrats arrived at in choosing him as their candidate. Everyone else in the field of Democrat candidates had the usual baggage but not all of it was insurmountable. I suspect the polls played a role in winnowing out certain losers but still Biden? Its the bottom of the ninth, bases loaded with two outs and you send Biden up to the plate? Biden, even in the earlier part of his career wasn’t much of a hitter, now he can’t even see the ball coming across the plate. This is a question even Democrat voters must surely be asking.There is no possible way for Joe Biden to be the leader of the free world and the Democrats know this so what is their plan? I’m not going to speculate except to say that what ever it is cannot be in the best interests of America. Why else would they run the most helpless, incapable person they could find as their candidate. If elected would Biden become a figurehead in the short term while the country is run by his handlers? That’s not how America’s executive branch is supposed to work, that would be unconstitutional. Or as most people suspect it’s just a ruse to seize power and to install the vice president who most likely couldn’t get elected otherwise. That is duplicitous in that, we elect a president not a proxy and the roles of president and vice president are clearly spelled out in the Constitution. Other than to succeed to the presidency upon the death or resignation of a president, a vice president's only constitutional duty is to preside over the Senate. Death or resignation, I don’t think old Joe would resign under any circumstances but then there is the specter of Burisma. Still Biden as a cranky old dement might not go easy, might even create a national spectacle. So that leaves death and it wouldn’t be the first time that has occurred for political purposes. Is that where we are now? Doesn’t seem very American to me but it reeks of Democrat politics. For that last three plus years they have very publicly shown America the most ridiculous lengths the are willing to go through to steal the presidency from Trump. This is no different only this time all the stops are out. Amidst all of the chaos we are currently suffering the Democrats are willing to go the full Monty on the election, how incredibly shameful. We must not allow this criminal organization to destroy our beloved republic. Every election one party claims the other will be the end of America, if the Democrats win it is certain.

 

He was seen as representing the status quo of the old guard. He'd get Washington back to the corrupt way of doing business, and he'd not rock the boat with lunatic ideas that would bankrupt the nation and destroy the established industries for the lobbyists on K Street that all the politicians in Washington rely on.

Sadly, O'Biden is so fragile now, that the neo-Marxists like AOC have gotten to him, and now he's just as bad as the Bernies and Elizabeths.

 

Why Biden? Who knows? I heard there weren't supposed to be any rich white men in the democrat primaries.

 

If Biden's insane, what about a President who wants to nuke a hurricane, or inject disinfectant to cure the COVID ?

The Democrats and 57% of the Independents have only one plan: get Trump out of the White House and elect Biden.

Biden? Hell, nobody thought Trump would be elected because of his erratic nature, why not Biden?

At least Biden has the experience of working with a team to bring the country out of crisis (2007-08 recession). Trump
had a competent economic team when he started (the team that put together the tax package) but he chased all
those people away. All Biden has to do is bring back his old team and let them get back on the track that brought
us a record number of positive GDP growth years. It wasn't flashy, or quick - but it was slow and steady.

Trump supporters like to point back at the first few years of economic growth during the Trump administration - but that
entire economic team has left the White House.

 

Why Biden? Well you could also say Why Mondale? Why Hillary? Why Kerry? Why Gore? Why Dukakis? Why McGovern? Why Humphrey? All losers. That's the democrat MO when running against a strong candidate.

 

Is fine, still has vestiges of a horrible childhood stutter. If you watch Fox news enough you'll believe anythink. He was great in the debate against Sanders.

 

Biden only wrote a book recently. Famously honest and not worth much. Forget the phony scandals.....

 

Clear would have been so much better if they had been elected it's ridiculous. The old ignorant silent majority is now the ignorant loudmouth majority.....

 

Why Trump and Biden? Both are Dotards from hell and have little energy levels that their job demands plus Trump can't stay off the golf course long enough to play a game of president...

It's indeed Trump who is POTUS while the economy is in ruins, unemployment is at 11%, there are riots everywhere, 145,000 deaths from COVID and unlike all the other countries of the West, the nation is unable to overcome the pandemic.

The miserable future, we're living it right now.

 

Why Biden? The reason is that most Democrats believed (and they're probably right) that conservatives will be open to voting for Biden. Because he represents the moderate right of the Democratic Party. More likely they would vote for him than say... for Bernie or any of the others. Not my favorite candidate, but it is a fact that Biden is the safest choice opening the possibility to a win large enough that even Trump couldn't be able to cheat himself into getting another four years of his dictatorship.
