I wouldn't be surprised if the reason she doesn't go with them is because they've been threatened with excommunication if she does. My apologies, I was under the impression that you had access to both the internet and the ability to order things online and have them delivered. Since you mentioned that you were not yet under quarantine I assumed that deliveries were still ongoing.
I'm not under quarantine because I'm in central africa. While I have access to the net I only get deliveries when a friend comes here from the states. He's a good man but no one will be coming from the US for some time
No, but I have made my first mask. I used leftover material from a shirt I had made here so I be stylin'. Working on a campaign to get tailors to throw in masks made from leftover materials from shirts and pants. I bet it catches on. Fortunately all our locally made clothes are 100% cotton.
Well, it was bound to happen. I tried to take a nap yesterday but the child was "singing" her heart out. But after awhile I heard a lot of babies crying nearby. I got up to investigate. There were a bunch of women with crying babies kicking the **** out of the girl and it was pretty obvious that they'd finished the job. The women here are amazingly docile and put up with a lot of **** but sometimes one reaches her limit and snaps, then it's like falling dominoes and pretty soon you have a deadly mob and you do not want to be the object of their attention. Now I'm no fool. I can see the state these women were in and I do not want that directed at me. So I say "I'll tell her parents that I saw her leaving with a teenage boy the direction of the quarry. You have to make sure the body is so well hidden it'll never be found." Smiles all around and the babies were all laughing and singing and having a good time. It was beautiful but then I woke up. She woke me up hitting even louder bad notes. It was such a nice dream.

It looks like Darwin is going to bat for me. This morning I was doing the dishes and I happened to look outside and the boy was hovering around again so she started "singing" and for a flash he reacted like a normal person to it. He recovered quickly but not quick enough for she saw it. I wouldn't bet two cents he'll live to 16. Even better, for four hours now she has not sung. On a side note. Why do we say we are doing the dishes rather than simply washing them? And another thing. Why do mothers insist on saying to their sons "I'll fix you mister!"? I grew up on a farm with animals and I knew from an early age exactly what it meant to fix an animal. And why is that fixed? It seems to me that should mean broken. No I haven't been drinking, maybe I should.
The neighbor knocked this morning to ask if it would bother me if they installed a sat dish on the roof because of the noise. At that very moment his daughter was in back singing and all the nearby babies crying. How can a parent be that oblivious?
