Who's Life do you Save?

OK.....you are in the ocean surf and a storm comes in creating a serious rip tide...now as I am a Master Diver I know how to use Rip Tides but most people fight against them get exhaused and die drowning.

You are swimming and you can save one of four people so you must decide who to save.

Person #1 is Jesus Christ.

Person #2 is Einstein.

Person #3 is Moses.

Person 34 is Betty Johnson 11 year old Female of average intelligence and in History she will be recorded as a mother of 1 and Divorsed and no signifigant advantagaes passed down Gentically or Mentally to the world.


WHO DO YOU SAVE?

WHY DID YOU SAVE THEM?

WHY DO YOU EXPECT THE HUMAN RACE TO GAIN?

Well, lets look at it rationally. JC can walk on water, so no, not him. Einstein and Moses are both dead, so no need to save a corpse. Ok, the last one. Betty.

Jesus, Einstein, and Moses are already dead.
I do not expect the human race to gain a damn thing...I just do not wish to sit back and do nothing while someone dies.

Plus #1 and #3 probably never lived in the first place.

 

And who gets to decide for me what is the correct answer? You? Me? Someone else? And by what authority?

 

EZ. Betty. Shes a girl. Plus Jesus Moses and Einstein directly contributed to the deaths of countless innocent people. (assuming jesus and moses were real in your scenario) Betty was the only one that gave more life than she took.

 

If you are a master diver you should know that if you release the air from each of your tanks they will float. Give one to Jesus, one to Moses, and swim the girl to shore yourself.

I save the Moses so he can part the sea and then we can all walk out.

 

JC can walk on water so he's fine.

Moses can part the sea so he's fine.

Einstein smarter than all of us rolled together so he knows all about the rip tides so he's fine.

My first reaction to the question is that I will contemplate the choices for so long that all swimmers will have died by the time I'd actually get around to choosing one.

My second reaction is that I will save Betty, this because I would be acting in on a split second decision and will follow my instincts rather than my reasoning, and most 11 year olds manage to induce more empathy in me than the other options. This is not calculated in order to benefit humanity.

My third reaction is to save Einstein, because he's to a large extent equivalent to Betty. Divorced, father of 3 (I see no reason to value one number of children before another). While the scientific discoveries are a nice glazing, I don't view it as a moral imperative, nor do I think that Einstein's ideas would have stayed unknown if it wasn't for him. There is an issue with the ages. Betty might have a longer life than Einstein, only it's specified that we're not talking about Einstein in his current state, so I might as well consider 11 year old Einstein.

(My second guess would be the girl... the only girl of the 3 PLUS, you did not say who she is the mother of...which could be significant; SHE may not have made much of a difference, but you didn't really say if her off-spring did).

Jesus is ordained to die the how matters not in the end

Moses as a prophet will already sit beside throne and his descendants have been granted their posterity

Einstein is an option but he has lived his life and made his choices

This is an actual question that is part of an ACTUAL MILITARY AND AGENCY TEST.

The fact she is female has nothing to do with it.

Who a person is....their contributions either already made or to come has nothing to do with it.

It is a specific MEHTODOLOHY AND THERE IS ONLY ONE CORRECT ANSWER so a person might answer Betty might be correct but they need to know WHY the selection of Betty is correct.

Moses and Jesus will go to heaven, and Einstein leading to nuclear weapons, probably not so much,but maybe we can postpone the nuclear arms waste/race with his death.
