Sexual harassment doesn't have to mean sexual assault. She said she felt threatened. He had no right getting her personal home phone to begin with. That alone is just plain creepy. He shouldn't have called her at all.
I would disagree with your assessment. Besides, there's a thing called personal space and Franken violated it while he laughingly subjected this woman to humiliation which he guaranteed by having his actions photographed.
I posted the OP before I knew the full story. I saw the announcement that the accuser was coming forward. Nevertheless, even though she is not accusing him of sexual assault, she is accusing him of inappropriate behavior. She said she feels like he was stalking her and threatening to her. That is not the way a gentleman should behave.
myyyyyyyyy what a difference a day makes. Now its ok for lefty guys to harass women in real life eh...but to put it in perspective you guys wanted to impeach trump over his pu$$y grab on an imaginary woman. Franken though you guys are defending. This is getn as good as election night. Say goodbye to Franken.....its over for that smug leftist piece of S.
The second complaint is nothing at all. Nothing of was sexual or gender oriented whatsoever. "He kept calling me to argue a political fact issue with me. I was emotional scarred for life by it" BS.
Your buddy, Roy Moore... Republicans are going to lose a seat if they can't get the Mall Stalker to quit the race.
Imaginary? They all have names and actually exist lol Too funny you claim trumps accusers are liars yet believe Frankens? Notice I haven't called her a liar?
The Trump accusers now total 16, excluding those that have been paid-off for their silence and the golden shower ladies.
This came up on another thread. I think the standard for examining accusations aimed at presidents and candidates for that office, whether named Clinton or Trump, those standards must be higher. While I find both Trump and Slick Willie to be somewhat skeevy - especially Slicky Boy - I think we need to be careful about allowing them to be targets of every nutjob who may want to assassinate them in any way.
This is good because each side is keeping the other accountable. Both sides seem somewhat willing to dob their own in.
The problem with that analogy becomes that it is one sided. The right holds Franken accountable to all measures, while claiming the accpuntability of Roy Moore as fake news. Maddow has reported on Franken, so it’s not like it’s only Fox puppets chirping over this issue. As a side note, I will add I did not think it was 2006 when that photograph was taken. The photo looked older than that. I wanted to state that for the record.
Evangelical support for Moore increased after the WaPo revelations. I think it's reasonable to say that that's because they distrust WaPo, not because they support paedophilia. I agree, these people are making a mistake. They should ditch Moore in favor of a write in candidate. Supporters of paedophilia that does not make.
It really follows the whole, “fake news” ordeal. Trust Roy Moore’s campaign, not the WaPo. The evangelical support goes up I think because they firmly believe that Moore really upholds Christian values. In turn, it gives Christianity a bad name.
I completely agree. It's a symptom of the polarisation of America. Nobody trusts that the other side has the nations best intentions in mind. Intent doesn't matter anymore. It's all about the other side being Communists or White Supremacists.
