Youtube to remove extremist sites

This is great news! Youtube banning extremists.....now I won't be bothered by any ads ran by any of the Democrat nominees for President.

Oh wait, are you telling me this only applies to who youtube considers extremist, as opposed to reality? I knew it was too good to be true.

 

The worse parts came under Nixon. He expanded it into Cambodia and Laos. In the run up to the election of 1968, the Viet Cong had indicated that they were ready for talks. So the Republicans sent a delegation, George HW Bush and Henry Kissinger among them, telling them that they would get a better deal with Nixon. Again in 1980, led by Bush, they played the same game with the Iranian hostage crisis, telling the Iranians to hold the hostages until Reagan was elected.

 

Is it an eye opening experience to suddenly discover that one holds extremist views? Or does it take a long time to pry those eyes open?

 

Did you have millions of followers, billions of views? Did the person who got you banned send out a tweet encouraging people to milk shake all conservative politicians (an incitement to violence)?

Lets get this straight, youtube is attacking creators who have larger audiences than CNN. This is also an attack on millions of Americans who Silicon Valley hate. They are taking the voice of mainstream conservatism away and the reason is obvious, the upcoming elections.

You can still send them donations. Why should an advertiser be forced to support things that they do not?

This move by Facebook and Google is twofold. First to prevent a repeat of 2016, to keep congress off their backs. The second is that they are a business. They are losing people from Facebook and advertisers are pulling out of YouTube, with opposition to this right wing misinformation, often hate filled content, as reasons. A good portion of the population is really sick and tired of Republican shenanigans are are starting to fight back to shut it down.

 

Nope, all I have to do is flip it over to CNN or MSNBC and I see all the crazy **** I can handle in a matter of seconds.

Well sort of. Metaphorically speaking, I keep poking conservatives in the eye all the time; in the hopes that one will open those eyes and see. Try to get them to believe their lying eyes. Yet the intransigence of conservative thought is quite strong, even when overwhelmingly proven to be in the wrong. Take global warming, for instance. The problem is that Jesus isn't involved. He would never let us destroy the earth. Yet the world continues to warm, and the attendant problems continue to grow. But it is all a hoax, so who knew.

Acceptance of Trump's behavior is also rather extreme. I wonder what kind of person it is, that thinks his behavior is just fine. Besides those who keep quoting Hitler and Mussolini. And even them. What is it that causes one to think like that?

 

Fortunately, stopping the flow of information in the Digital Age is impossible.

Given that according to surveys, 26% of Americans view the Mainstream Media as the Enemy of the People, there will be enough demand for Alternative Media to appear.

Well sort of. The anti-abortion crowd isn't exactly pro-life, they are just anti-abortion. It may not occur to you, but to most people, banning abortion is a step too far backwards. Do you know what demographic is most in favor of allowing abortion? Educated women. Do you know who is most opposed to abortion? Non-college educated men. notice the pattern? Also, something like 70% of the country support widely available abortion. Once again illustrating the anti-democratic tendencies of the right.

Leftist Censorship will slow down the spread of information they do not like, but stopping information in Digital Age is impossible.

President Trump has indicated that he will try to stop censorship by Media Giants. I do not know how successful he will be. I do know that Conservatives should support President Trump in any suit or executive order he may launch. Conservatives should use their First Amendment Right to indicate that support on any media still available to them.

 

If you want to dress up an 9 year boy old as a girl and parade him around a gay night club taking tips from grown ass men.... youtube will monetize the **** out of your content. If you make a video criticizing the monetization of sexualizing boys to grown adults..... well that is bannable as all hell. Youtube is trying to stigmatize normality and normalize bizarre sexual kink. Thank God social media is finally being investigated for collusion by the government.... I hope they come down on them like a wrecking ball.

I am of an age where I was into microprocessor based computers, on a professional design level, just as they were coming into existence. The early internet ran on AT&T phone lines. The internet data packet system design, in part to be compatible with the AT&T multiplexing and data routing schemes. Anyhow, the early browsers, if you can call them that, were a bit like a DOS directory call. Just lists of available files and folders. It wasn't exactly user friendly, but if your intention was to share files, it worked just fine. Even with all that is now layered upon the internet, it is still possible to go cruising the internet as if it were one big hard drive, able to access every public file. All you need is the address of the server. Things have gotten a lot more secure and complicated, but there is nothing, that is really hidden, or dark on the internet. If you can access it, there is a way for me to also access it. That is why I find it so strange that so may companies leave their data exposed to the internet.

That is the thing I find kind of funny about the so-called dark web. It is a bit like kids going behind the dumpster to smoke. It is not like they are truly hidden from view. It is even a bit humorous when conservatives act like it is a place where liberals are too slow to find. Do they not know that that is where people like me go to find software that is beyond our ability to pay for? Do they not know that it is part of the system that has been primarily designed by liberal leaning individuals. The whole of the digital entertainment industry is perhaps the greatest user of dark web places. They aren't exactly know for being conservative.

Quite possibly, the Republican's investigations into social media and others is just part of the effort to cover up their greater corruption. Do you know why Mueller couldn't prove coordination and conspiracy. Everyone either lied or refused to talk. The investigations into the oranges, is just part of the cover-up.

However, I am always struck how the conservative leaners, or is just the more religious, so often come up with the most depraved examples.
