    Define extremist? Anyone who goes against the far left's narrative.

    In the minds of plenty of progressives, just being a white Trump supporter makes you a racist and a Nazi. There is unimaginable opportunity for abuse and biased censorship with this new "anti extremism" policy. All in the name of being PC and/or saving us from ourselves, of course.

    That's not helpful since you need a baseline to determine what's extremist.

    For example, is support for the "Green New Deal" extremist? It's certainly extreme, and is something believed in by a small minority of fanatics.

    They have tagged "immigration status" in youtube.

    So anyone talking about the harm of illegal immigration can be demonetized and buried in search results.

    No different from book burning.

    It is what is, they can beat around the bush all they want. It's censorship of things which run counter to the progressive world view.

    It'll start out by banning literal Nazis who're literally inciting violence. From there they'll push further into things which have nothing to with National Socialism or blatant racism. The exception of course being videos which stereoype or advocate against straights, whites, Christians, conservatives, and males.

    These people are too stupid to realize that censorship is a losing game plan and that the best way to counter questionable beliefs is to leave it out in the public for debate and scrutiny.

    It'd be perfectly understandable if the intent was to rid their platform of incitement, libel, and slander, but that's not what this is. It's progressive sanitization of thought and speech.

    I understand that this is troubling development for many Conservatives regardless of their stand on gender issues.

    One of the worst inequities of the Social Media Purge will be its effect on discrimination against men. All MRA and MGTOW videos will be banned just for mentioning the existence of anti-male sexism and complicity of some feminists in it.

    Genuine hate speech against men is allowed in respectable MSM. Here is one of hundreds examples.

    So what percentage of the population has to go off the rails for something to be considered extreme? Transgenderism is extremist, very extremist. I'll bet promoting transgenderism will be allowed but opposing it will be defined as extremist and banned.
