Will Biden try to weasel out of debates?

As to the why so many people think Biden is senile....well I saw the Democratic primaries.

But as you said, you'll take the senile guy over the sociopathic one, so it doesn't matter if you think he's senile or not. That doesn't effect your vote.

 

You are right, I hate the SOB and I would vote for anyone but this horrid individual. Luckily, I don't have to pick between Ted Bundy and Charles Manson, Biden is a good man, he has the experience and the world is exhausted by Trump. We need him out now or this nation will cease to exist in four more years. Its over if he wins.

They entered with a recession and high spending and exited with a recovery and lower spending. Something trump will not be able to say. They also created more jobs in their last 36 months than trump did in his first 36 even though he was spending more money.

If that is a disaster I would hate to see what you consider a success, 200k virus deaths maybe?

Annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd Hillary is going to become president in 2016. By the way, new polling by companies NOT working for the DNC are indicating that in reality Trump is beating Biden in polling because -- drum roll please -- voters are blaming Dem Party mayors for standing down police departments to allow rioters to devastate entire sections of cities; and Biden is suffering the poliltical fallout. Oops!

 

2020 is NOT 2016.

That said, it is a free country and anybody who wants to hang their hat on the tired (and played-out) refrain of "The Polls Were Wrong in 2016, But...Hillary" have my blessing.

The only thing is THIS:

Anybody who actually believes that (and isn't just using it for an Empty Slogan, as a coping mechanism) is going to be sorely disappointed on Election Night (when Biden blows out Trump in a Democratic Tsunami).

You are forgetting that we are currently in a recession, a pandemic, and on the verge of a racially motivated civil war.

That is a disaster. Why would you want to continue it with the guy who put us there?

 

Because the majority will no longer want to be part of such a system and Trump will do everything he can to make it a revenge term. Personally I can see no way the republic survives another four years of Trump.

 

it won't matter one bit what the marketing efforts of right wingers do to the Biden campaign. He could take the oath gibbering and foaming at the mouth and the majority of Americans and the entire world would breathe a sigh of relief.

 

I recall back in 2016 when the political Left said much the same thing about Hillary as she was given the debate questions in advance and was often physically propped up when moving from venue to venue. That didn't work out for them as planned. Oh snap! But it's like socialism, isn't it? "Real socialism has never been tried!" is the collectivist howl, along with, "But next time it will work!"

 

Again why would the republic end, the republic was doing better than it had in modern history until the COVID thing and the Democrats certainly have nothing to offer there. We will need to rebuild the economy, how did the Democrats do going into and coming out of the 2008/9 recession? The WORST recovery in our history why would you want a repeat of that?

 

I know exactly the economic situation, which party is better able to handle such matters, CLEARLY the Republicans and to claim the President caused a global pandemic is one of the more ridiculous statements you have made.

 

Trump already said he won't debate anyone.... so still remains to be seen if Trump will weasel out of debates like he did the republican debates

I said Trump ****ed up the domestic response to that global pandemic.

 

I have written, more than once, that there should be fact checkers at debates. Non partisan, even better. I find it ridiculous that two politicians are given a national audience to say whatever they want, unchecked. It should be made conditional by those who host the debates - every debate.

As for the taxes/financials - I don't think its a ridiculous request, but it will go unheeded. As it has for over four years.

 

False, the Democrats including Senators Biden and Obama took the Congress a YEAR before the recession began. They were handed a great economy and a paltry $161B deficit. They lost more jobs and had the worst recovery in modern history. Remember their plan was supposed to hold unemployment to just 8% and then quickly recover. It failed by all measures and took almost 8 years to recover. And DUH when you have lost all those jobs it a heck of a lot easier to create new jobs than when you have full employment and everyone is already working, that is why we had a 7,000,000 jobs surplus before the global pandemic wiped out millions of jobs.

So what could the President have done to stop the COVID virus from coming here at all and be specific.
