Don't pretend you're not trying to make those who disagree with you out to be bad by applying that "Cultural Marxist" label to them, and now to me. Now, why do you think centrists are about to be wiped out, exactly? Certainly the fringe has been growing more mainstream among the GOP lately, but thanks to Trump in particular, we are now seeing a backlash to this, aren't we? From the Lincoln Project to ordinary Republican voters, the extremism, destructiveness, corruption, and general stupidity of the alt-right under Trump is finding strong opposition, and there will be a reckoning on election day and within the GOP afterwards.
Yep. As with the religious analogy, the extremists are increasingly opposed to the conservatives who hold to the old ways and increasingly want to break away and take the entire "church" their own way. Since the Republican party surrendered its principles long ago, this has been a long time coming. It lost its old identity as a political party and needs to work out just what it stands for going forward. It can't afford to be a perment opposition party even when it is in power. Republicans need a positive agenda that serves the nation and its people. They don't have this under Trump, who merely tears up international agreements, picks fights, acts to harm people in order to score political points with bigots, and otherwise does whatever he thinks will benefit himself personally from day to day, all the while seeking praise and adulation from cheering, chanting crowds at rallies and pundits on TV.
I don't see "bad people" just because of differing opinions. Good people disagree. That doesn't make one person an evil villian and the other a virtuous saint. The fringe has been growing on both sides. You see more extremes on the alt-right. I happen to see more extremes with the Far-Left anarchists who are burning down cities and looting while Democrat Centrists roll over and allow them to plunder and destroy. Needless to say, politics in America is undergoing a rapid and radical change.
As an empirical example, Trump, who has proclaimed himself the "King of Debt!", has bloated the national indebtedness to an astronomical level. Are stalwart, doctrinaire Republicans who still advocate for fiscal restraint all now declared anathema to the GOP because they abide by their traditional advocacy of fiscal restraint rather than surrender to irresponsible Trumpery?
The polls I've been seeing show Republicans leaving the party, and some of those that remain won't vote for Trump. Better late than never, I guess.
Allegations? It has been confirmed that Biden unmasked and was a significant part of Obamagate. But as far as Dementia goes, all you have to do is watch Biden on YouTube for about 10 minutes to fully grasp the deterioration that has occurred in just the past three months.
Here's my pro-tip: Never rely on a video from Youtube to explain a conspiracy theory. The Trump administration was investigated appropriately and justifiably by the appropriate members of law enforcement.
The left hates Trump so much but the only candidate they could run that might have any chance of winning is clearly mentally compromised... And they dont even care. Biden might not even make it through the debates without disasterous consequences
Biden successfully debated Elizabeth Warren, who is a hell of lot smarter than Donald Trump, and Bernie Sanders, who is one of the most "on message" politician in US history. He will be more than fine against Donald "Bleach Injecting" Trump.
Donald Trump gonna drop some pearls of wisdom like his last debate when he said, "No, no, no. Not the puppet. You're the puppet." Or "It could be Russia, it could be China, it could be a 400 lb guy in his basement...my 10 year old grandson can do some incredible things with computers."
Do you really believe that even if Trump offers a historic performance in a debate against Biden, he will succeed in seducing the 11 million voters he lacks to be re-elected? Well, good luck with that.
Trump had the New Car Smell! I voted for him to stop the insanity of seeing socialism wrapped up in Christmas Paper under that Douglas Fur Tree killed for a party during December with a big fat fake lie. Just like there is no Santa is the terrible hoax played on children. The man who sold the world, He's just a man, not a very good one at that after you dig deep into his past and see the corruption of his capitalism. Fox was selling Trump using Fear...CNN was selling Clinton as Obama's Legacy part II. But none of that matters now because Trump is no longer New, he is a dusty old worn out 4 door sedan smelling like old burger king trash in the back seat with beer stains and ashtrays. No,Trump is not what he claims and he lies beyond reason, he lies to keep the animals well fed on the farm and keep them happy. Trump, He is the Master Of Disaster, has found himself in a election year holding on to a disaster created by not listening, and he is in denial. He is a train about to crash and roll off the tracks over the cliff into the abyss of darkness taking the GOP down with him. Who are these RVAT, mostly Independent voters not affiliated with either party oligarchy...will dump Trump, and use the power to vote with their feet or hold their nose and elect the man that sniffs little girls hair....Creepy Joe ! It will take more than a Lincoln Project to bring down that narcissist occupying The Whitehouse Buck Rogers 1st post @PF July 19, 2020 02:09
Seriously?... Voted for Trump because he was new and not a socialist. Now going to vote for same socialism you didnt like the first time because why??? It makes zero sense and is totally illogical behavior. Im calling shenanigans.
People on the right throw the word "socialism" around without seeming to understand what it means. If they did, they wouldn't use it to describe simple policies that benefit all people the way our current "socialist" Medicare and Social Security programs do. Why take care of seniors but leave everyone else to suffer and die in a ridiculous healthcare non-system that is more of a free-for-all feeding frenzy on the working class by predatory sharks in various industries (healthcare, insurance, banking etc.)? Why support union-busting and other policies that leave people earning a pittance for breaking their backs and with no recourse when an employer fires them for no good reason, and working over 40 hours a week just to stay in debt? All Republicans, Trump included, ever have to offer is trickle-down economics, the notion that if you just slash taxes and regulartions on businesses and the wealthy, that wealth will come raining down on everyone else. It never happens, though, because businesses aren't generally into generosity. They hire and pay as little as possible, no matter how little of their revenues they have to pay in taxes. They give the extra to their executives (themselves) in the form of massive bonuses, so if they're generous, it's with themselves and not their powerless employees at the base of the power-pyramid.
Durandal Translation: I want more socialism. I want the people who already pay 90% of the tax burden to pay more because the 50% of people who pay nothing need more free stuff.
I would love to see you defend Trump's use of socialism in that he signed the arguably single largest socialist legislative package (the CAREs Act) in US history.
