I would say it has more to do with Neanderthal DNA than white skin. Asians and Whites both have Neanderthal DNA at rates higher than 10x greater than Africans. All first world populations are either heavily white or heavily Asian. That indicates a hell of lot more going on than "skin color".

One of the reasons that white conservatives are so pissed off is that they are seeing pockets of 2nd/3rd worldism starting to pop up in cities that were once jewels (Minneapolis is the latest example). Look at the white countries that are 2nd world, every single one of them was under communism and they are still trying to recover from it. It is communism/socialism that is the preferred government by progressives and minorities in America. It is almost like they don't realize that history exists. Communism destroys the productivity of your most intelligent and creative people and without their ability to create wealth, your society becomes impoverished. Price's law is a thing for a reason and it applies to companies, literature, science and countries...... and it only works in a capitalist society.

I don't think so. NASCAR has been losing fans over the last few years and I think the boys in charge want to expand their tv viewing base. They decided to ban the CSA ANV battle flag as a way of updating their image.

Their lower- and middle-income white demographic doesn't have a lot of money.

Think about how many African-Americans would be wealthy if they did these things:

1) Graduated high school with a full diploma.
2) Did NOT have children until they were adults, married, and had a well-paying job that could support them.
3) Avoided the judicial system at all costs.
4) Got a job, even flipping burgers.

Pretty much every government survey has stated that if you do those things, you only have a 2% chance of living under the poverty line, and somewhere around 70-80% chance of being middle-class.

After said hypothetical African-American had a job, they then:

1) Saved a thou or two for an emergency fund - as opposed to buying bling.
2) Paid off all debt/avoided credit cards at all costs,
3) Save 3-6 months for a fully-funded emergency fund.
4) Invest 15% of expenses into retirement.
5) Save for the children's retirement fund.
6) Pay off home early.
7) Build wealth and donate to charity (great tax write-off)

I ain't black. I ain't white either. My family had almost nothing, same with me - started with next to nothing. I don't have this white privilege you speak of, I've dealt with racism and bigotry on a personal basis and yet I pulled it off and am debt-free, doing well, and have my own house, and all this on a teacher's salary. The only financial drain I have is my son who my wife enables, but I can even deal with that - but that's another story. The thing is - anyone can do this, anyone can be a success if you stop using a victim mentality and plan for the future. But the problem is that there appears to be a culture in which delayed gratification - something you need to believe in and live by in order to save is seen as a white thing, and it looks like African-Americans ain't down with that. Don't believe me? Look HERE. Oh, and BLM says that reliability and loyalty in an employee - something you need if you're gonna be successful in any job - those are white constructs. But don't take my word for it, look HERE. Oh, and you really ought to know math if you're gonna save and invest successfully - but hold on, we got another BLM member that says Math is for whitey. Hey, don't blame me, look HERE. Two plus two equaling four is racist.

So I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that while there are definite problems that blacks face, many if not most of their problems right now might be of their own making. Cuz, well - if you believe that delayed gratification, reliability, and knowing math are for whitey - you may have a problem generating, saving, and keeping wealth, much less achieving financial security.
