IQ matters. Self restraint matters. If you give a 5 year old an IQ test and the marshmallow test, you can predict with devastating accuracy how well they will do in life. Those are the two metrics in which I dominated my brothers and I ended up with a net worth greater than all four of them combined. My kids are top of the chart for IQ but fail miserably on the marshmallow test and will therefor do much worse than myself. If race genetically affects IQ and self restraint then it will necessarily affect financial success too. Is that what you are arguing?

Do you realize how many words we can't use, how many books we can't read, how many movies we can't watch, how many things we can't do because it hurts someone's feelings? People of all colors and religions have been lynched, so why blacks would think a knot on the end of a string used to pull down a garage door was targeting them and only them is beyond explaining unless they crave victimhood and attention.

You do realize that more white people have been murdered by blacks than the number of blacks who were lynched, right? If symbolism is what you're after, then by your own reasoning, should white people cower in fear or be offended by black people? ALL sports entertainment is sucking right now and auto racing still had huge audiences and still the most attended event every year. Again you obviously don't know much about the sport as in I don't know anything about Squash and would find it quite boring to watch.

That's on this board, but in life I don't really pay attention to race that often. Like I said earlier, I live in a Mexican majority area and everyone gets along just fine. The few times race creeps into reality are the times when I have an open position and HR reminds me that I have no black people on my crew - all but 3 of them are Mexicans because that's the reality of where I live. Another thing is the crap I see on Facebook, it's all about race - first it was everything that's black is wonderful, now attitudes are changing because of the violence and special rights and privileges they seem to want. I stay out of all that because it's just not wise to post anything using your real name where someone could twist and distort what I said and suddenly the PC cops are trying to ruin my life.

But ever since 2008 race has become a political tool and weapon and we can see that now. So discussing race on this board is an appropriate and safe way to discuss that tool and weapon. When you and I debate stuff, it usually pertains to race. But if you and I ever get that chance to suck down those beers, I doubt race would even be mentioned.
