I have high hopes of getting a crop of pecans, muscadines, and scuppernongs this year. Our pecans trees are loaded so loaded that some of the branches are breaking it is going to be a good crop if we don't get some strong winds.

Got a new coffee pot and learned a new way to spell minute, on the front of the coffee pot it is spelled Mintue. Who knew? Made in China.

The mysterious hole installers are back.

They have a 20-24ft box truck. Some hidden machine is running and there's a six inch flex hose coming from the truck.

I was going to ask for an update.

Could they be injecting some form of insulation? The hole in the attic, a box truck with machinery and a flex hose sounds like insulation.

Now, they're working on this side of the house. It looks like they might be blowing in insulation.

I still don't know what the framed hole is for. I'm guessing an attic exhaust fan.

If I had a framed hole in my house, I would wait for my neighbors to look up and then I would step into the framed area and strike a pose.
Like thats why the framed hole is there.
lol No wait, Id strike a pose with a pair of binoculars zoning in on my neighbors like it was my new.... spy window.

Maybe they are vacuuming the dust out so when they install the attic fan the dust won't blow over on the neighbors.

82 feels like 91. Light mist and 88% humidity. Power is out. The truck has AC.

I couldn't take it any longer. I went full-on Gladys Cravitz and asked what the hole is for.

Oddly, there is no attic access from inside the house. The insulators simply needed a way to get in the attic.

Good morning, earthlings. Glad you solved the mystery, TC. I have a framed hole in the ceiling of a hallway, but it's an attic fan. Sealed off now. The only entry to my attic is a hole about 8 ft off the ground in the garage. Not much of an attic and thank goodness no junk stored there. It's all in the garage! :(

don't cotton having a private space he can putz his junk.
    So,let's play ...
    - Name Your Junk - { a version of Name That Tune }.
We'll start with your garage and the biggest item of junk.
Keeping in mind many a fellar may disagree that it's Junk.

Nobody would argue about my junk being junk. About 1/4 is full of boxes of junk... the worldly belongings of a deceased friend. All needs to be donated, but his brother asks me to hold onto it for a while. Been about 4 yrs now.

Another 1/4 is a housemates boytoys. Drills, saws, that kinda stuff. He gets the space because he fixes stuff that breaks. Another 1/4 are mattresses in various sizes stores in plastic zipped covers. Leftover from phases of beds I bought myself of various sizes and firmness. At one point I thought I wanted a smaller bed so my room would feel bigger. Finally settled on a Calif King.

Wanna buy a mattress? Like new!

Other 1/4 is holiday crap, etc.

What's in your garage? Don't say your car.

I have about 1 1/2 barns full. You name it. I have almost decided to have a barn sale. We have downsized two or three times and the downsizing is stored. My husband thinks it is junk. The junk just might be stored from here on out or at least till the Chinese virus is gone. Maybe...

I've been to barn sales. Some good stuff to be had, but you have to get there early, and hope the person selling doesn't realize what they actually have....

So you have 2 barns,I take it.Well not really.
You'll have to just take your two barns and learn to live
with them.Make one into a Barbie Barn and the other a
Ken Barn.I think Miss Smartie was about to suggest that.
So I beat her to the punch bowl.
BTW ... are there any Punch Bowls sitting vacant in the
    one and a half barn.

Please talk to my husband...he sells stuff for a pittance and then tells me, "I thought you wanted to get rid of it."
Actually I do have two barns and two smaller buildings.
