Apparently he's already back in house. They kept it quiet until they knew what was happening. He was tested for work, but absolutely no symptoms. They've been staying in house, both working from home, for the last three months, but his job was about to go back to the field, hence the test.

I've been working the whole time, and since we aren't big on the socializing anyway, the few engagements we skipped on, weren't anything to speak of. No hermiting for me. I'll consider us fortunate that we have 4 acres, out in the county, so wondering around the yard endangers only the occasional weed. :)

Don't know, he hasn't been retested that we've been advised of. Sounds likely though.

I miss going out amongst people. We don't socialize much but going out to eat was special or just store browsing.

I'll admit, I've spent extra time browsing the cat food aisle than I used to. If I have to look at cans that say 'Ocean Whitefish Surprise', I'm going to take my time doing it, damn it! :D

Maybe he will come back negative next test. I am sure it will be a relief.

Finding cat food or dog food that my animals will like or eat is not happening. I think they turn up their nose just to irritate me. They love home cooking that is all except the cat.

    Not-a-one.

No one that I know personally has tested positive for the Wuhan China Virus.

Um ... how about relatives. There is no law that states a Relative
MUST be personally attached at the hip to a nutter relative.
Unless a relative passes and is very wealthy.
Then udder relatives come out like fire ants in search of
what they deserve.A huge bite out of an estate.

I know a few people who tested positive. A couple tested positive and recovered at home. Another person recovered but was really ill for a few months. They are still fatigued. One person who tested positive was hospitalized but died.

I know of dad's friend who owns a mechanic shop... who has a brother and nephew who both had it, but got well. I've heard there are 4 cases in our bldg, but no idea who. Coming up on 5 months I've been working from home. Figure my vulnerability will get me thru the end of the year teleworking. Haven't missed a day nor been tardy. Am I good or what? ;)

Seems to me cutting a hole in a closet or hallway ceiling would have been easier.

The important thing to keep aware is this.People die all the time.
From Heart disease and Cancer to the tune of 167 per 100,ooo.
Overall 730 deaths per 100,ooo in the U.S. each year. That includes
all deaths.Like Car accidents and suicides and many other causes like
falling down in the bathtub.Personally I think we are gonna find massive
    fraud about Covid-19 deaths.For 2 reasons.Hospitals get additional
money when a Physician puts down on a death certificate that Covid-19
was a contributing factor. Most often just for testing positive.
Ironically that also might be why Funerals underwent huge guidelines
over this summer in regards to state lockdowns.Explain the logic
behind No Lockdown guidelines for Massive Nightly Protests yet
strict guidelines for Funerals and attending Church.
    It's a Massive Fraud.
There is no account of President Woodrow Wilson making
statements publically ever during the Spanish Flu epidemic.
Plus we also had a 1957-58 Flu Pandemic in the U.S. that killed
116,ooo { No fudging on the cause of death }.
YOU and all Americans are being Stooged.
This is not a Politcal statement. It is Cold Hard reality.

I tend to side with you on this.My rationale.Look who seems to live
longest. It's Grandma and Grandpa who learn to live w/o being
out and about like these Trendies. They stay at home as much as possible.
Because that is their Castle.Call them homebodies and see if that bugs 'em.
They aren't easily bugged. But being told things like You are no longer
allowed to attend Church. This Fall your Grandkids may not be allowed
back to school. You now have limited hours to Grocery shop and must wear
a mask.Must make Grandma feel like Old Russia where all Older women
wore Babushka. Then boots in winter like military grade.
