There isn’t much a Trumpster can’t manufacture a rationalization for.

    Trump

That’s less that 1/5 of what Trump has burned through. And that’s just campaign looting.

The RNC paid a lot of his other legal bills.

Of course, when this is all over, the campaign will be insolvent, Melania will cash Don out, and the Russians won’t be around for the bailout this time.

Trump’s primary objective is to push the matter past the election. After that, he won’t care.

If he wins, he’ll just declare himself above the law again, and a complaint US Senate will endorse his barony.

If he loses, he’ll just try and bury the government in motions and spend attorney money until they dictate the settlement to him.

    That is his normal pattern.

    LOL!

During must of that time the FEC hasn't had a quorum, and thus can't take action under their authorization.

Trump can appoint members, but oh gee - he has a LOT of TV to watch!!

Moving on criminal behavior can not be considered a political attack.

And, McConnell and Boehner came together to state that they would allow NO Republican congressman to vote for Democratic measures purely as proof that the Republican party still had power after their catastrophic election losses.

    THAT is Republican governance!

He just made it up. The FEC does not have a quorum because one of the seats is empty, and Trump won’t fill it.

Your flagrant hypocracy is noted, and rejected. You were one of the loudest voices, parroting the constant stream of attacks from the right wing noise machine, and your Russian friends on social media. How many Benghazi “investigations” were there?????

Yes, you made it up. You just blindly made up a link to the FEC. And that was his counter argument.

Too bad, the link turned out to be the right one. Had you bothered to open it and scroll to the bottom, you would have seen that three of the commission positions are empty, and have been for most of the Trump presidency.

It’s handy work when you refute your own false claim!

There was a short period where there was a quorum.

There hasn't been a consistent quoru for a considerable period of time - from before the primaries for this election cycle at the very least.

    There you go again.

You're just wrong. You need to do your research before you CONTINUE making ridiculous statements.

Yes, you didn't even bother to address the right question!!

My point is that there has been a qurorum in the FEC for only short periods since at least a year ago.

The last resignation is only a small part of the issue.

And, note that they are now 3 down out of 6 positions!
