What about permanent reforms to election law?

Sure, but does this mean that you agree that it should have been included in a COVID relief bill?

I mean, was it acceptable that the dems included unrelated stuff?

I'm sure that your systems over there cannot verify that people are genuinely looking for work, just like here in Australia.

No, I'm not saying that. Why do you assume that I think that "tax cuts and student loan forgiveness" are not COVID related?

    pork-barrel legislation

Appropriations made by a legislature for projects that are not essential but are sought because they pump money and resources into the local districts of the legislators. Local projects, such as dams, military bases, highways, housing subsidies, and job training, are often funded by pork-barrel legislation, which can be accomplished through logrolling. Successful pork-barrel legislators are likely to be reelected by their constituents.

And that means that every single person had the same opinion?

A tiny bit of deductive reasoning would also be required. I can't recommend both highly enough to you.

If you had suggested search terms in mind, you would have suggested it already!

What I suggest is the liberal use of both Google and deductive reasoning, along with dropping the need to be spoon-fed information.

Impossible with the word "pork" with no context.

Bullshit. The concepts of "pork" and legislation were clearly linked. All that was required was a minimum of deductive reasoning.

And even the Salt deduction limit would put more money into the hands of middle class Americans and boost the economy
You provided a link to what you took issue with in the HEROES Act.

Obviously that was NOT pork...care to explain your issues then?

    Can you?

Yes, it was. I've already proven that to you on this thread.

The reforms address the issue of our ability to vote early or by mail, all of which is directly related to the pandemic, and with foresight for future elections that may pose similar problems.

I see no problem with any of these items, other that those I already cited, being included in the relief bill. The relief we the people need right now isn't as simple as giving everybody some money.

It applies to the issue that conservatives keep whining about, that people would rather sit home and receive the extra unemployment compensation than to actually work, which is universally not true. It's the excuse McConnell uses to continue to refuse to vote on the House bill, or any bill that extends the extra $600 that the unemployed were getting.
