Her focus was voting along Trump (party) lines 93% while he was in office. Running the country in the way she saw best was what she was doing.

I believe it is possible to fully commit oneself to one thing and not feel the need to fight against or condemn the opposition. Plenty of good people do that in politics and in life. We've just become so accustomed to the 'game' of politics that we forget what its like to have a politician focus themselves on working for the people.

Yes, sadly so, and it has come to a point where everyone must display loyalty, or suffer the consequences (public cancellation). If you disagree with Trump, then you have to lie about it, or refuse to comment, although I think soon the only option will be to lie.

Cheney is a RINO/Virtual Democrat. They are heading toward extinction - like the Whigs.
A political faction that almost all voters find repulsive has no future.

Give Trump credit. The republican party needed to divorce itself of idiot dino neocons like the Cheneys and the McCains.

The Iraq war was much more damaging to republicans than anything Trump did or represented.

Liz Cheney had a right to her opinion it was how she expressed that opinion that got her in trouble with her party.

What about Chuck Shumer a Jew saying nothing when members of the squad hate on Israel and promote it's enemies? The majority leader of the senate and the house speaker are hard pressed to be critical of extremist snot nosed new comers in your party. Why?

In what sense? Her political views are conservative, maybe too conservative for today's Republican party.

Lindsey Graham (R): "Cheney is one of the strongest and most reliable conservative voices in the Republican Party. She is a fiscal and social conservative, and no one works harder to ensure that our military is well prepared".

Heck, she is being ousted because she is "strong and most reliable conservative voice". Most others have gone off the deep end, and abandoned conservatism for populist nonsense.

    He can go pound sand.

    Anything else?

Whataboutism is an old Soviet tactic.

Professional politicians are, with very few exceptions, corrupt opportunists.
There is very little real political opposition in Washington. The politically myopic Cheney miscalculated the power of the popular mass movement that brought Trump to the WH and will now be discarded by the RP.

She will have a bright future as a lobbyist, AKA "Beltway Bandit" after the next election.

“[T]he running existential contradictions of D.C., a place where “authenticity and fantasy are close companions”, as the Washington Post’s Henry Allen once wrote. It misses that the city, far from being hopelessly divided, is in fact hopelessly interconnected. It misses the degree to which New Media has democratized the political conversation while accentuating Washington's insular, myopic, and self loving tendencies. It misses, most of all, a full examination of how Washington may not serve the country well but has, in fact, worked splendidly for Washington itself– A city of beautifully busy people constantly writing the story of their own lives.”

... "Peaceably" means not violent and what do fires in a theater have to do with this? Did he claim there was a shooter or something and someone got hurt when people rushed to escape? It's not a very good analogy if that's what it is intended as.

No, it's what the leftist MEDIA is focused on! As in, they're focused on the Republican response to Cheney.

Where did you source this from? Google is unable to attribute it to Paul.

Trump introduced a tax hike? Surely you can't be serious!

Name ONE SINGLE Republican politician other than stupid Marjorie Taylor Greene, who promotes the Trump related conspiracy theories. I look forward to getting no reply to this! :roflol:

You said "WAS" a lot. What about NOW?

Even if the opposition stands totally against your values?

Politicians are supposed to focus themselves on working for the people, based on their values. Unlike Biden, who is doing what the radicals TELL him to do. He is after all, a moderate at heart.

Demonstrated as well as our judicial system can. No point in arguing it any further.

He told his people they had to fight. How much more violent can you get than fighting?

Of course I said 'was' because I was referring to her voting record on Trump policies.

Please explain to me why she has been ousted. It isn't because of policy - from where I stand it was because she no longer supports a former POTUS.

Lawsuits are ongoing, forensic audits are, of course, being challenged by democrats. When the courts decide not to take a case on procedural grounds then the case is never decided on merit. For instance, one case was dismissed because they did not bring it soon enough yet if they brought it sooner (which was right after the election when election laws were changed just before the election unconstitutionally) it would have been dismissed on standing. The same court heard a different case 6 years after a law was changed so it begs the question of the court just not wanting to get involved.

She does not support the majority of republican voter sentiment so the RNC needs to support republicans. In the scheme of things removing a bitter adversary of the base is not a bad thing or a big deal.

This isn't canceling, this is internal party politics and it's how it has always worked. Liz is and will remain free to speak her mind and will remain in office till those who elected her decide they don't want her there anymore.

Just FYI, since you have no idea what is going on.

After weeks of talk / threats, the Republican party just canceled / ousted Liz Cheney for refusing the 'mark of the beast' aka lie about the election results etc. The GQP was fully focused on it, and now they did it. There are others who are targeted for the same treatment.

    How so?

Those 'real' Republicans must want to continue to be TOTALLY OBLITERATED in elections like with the PATHETIC and USELESS John Mcain and Mitt Romney in 2008 and 2012! :roflol:

No one should expect a "forensic audit" launched by the RP to do anything to disturb the election results.
